I haven't even dug into the Hub enough to know this, but can scenes be saved as some sort of text/xml file? If so, we could just do a thread. Or even this thread.

We are working on a place to keep and share these. We have a file format for both scenes and for individual pedals.

Sounds brilliant. Before an official sharing repository goes up, maybe we can do a dropbox thing as a temporary sharing location. That'll also make it easier to transfer over to an official repository when one appears.

I just made a folder with my current presets in them, but I can't figure out how to make it a public-shared folder yet - I'll figure out how to set it so that anyone can make a subfolder and/or upload stuff (but not delete stuff) later. Maybe I've to manually invite by email (but I'd like to avoid that)

So if an SB2 pedal takes 140 mA and the standard adapter is 300 mA, I should be able to power two (no HH3 or anything else) off of one adapter, right? I know this is obvious, I'm just thinking it might be less bulky than a 1spot and I wanted to hear some experience and double check the numbers...

The real question is always if the rating is peak or RMS. If the SB2 consumes 140mA peak then yes, otherwise you might get some power cut-offs or burn the adapter. Unless the adaptor is also 300mArms, then it might work or not depending on peak levels

You should be OK, though my experience is you may have to experiment a bit with which pedals (SA and others) you put on the same power supply daisy chain. I hear noise from some pedals, particularily the Orbital, if the power isn't good and clean. Some power hungry (digital) pedals don't go well together, or may need more juice than what the math says should be OK. This is a bit new to me, until now I've had zero noise issues despite daisy-chaining lots of pedals (analog), but with my new SA/Zoom board it is an issue.

There won't be anything else on it. My VL PP Mondo is full, including two splitting cables. The remaining items are my Infinity (200 mA 18V) and the two SB2 pedals. Both are going on the Mondo's courtesy AC outlet with their own wall-warts (and a multi-plug adapter). The Infinity needs its own due to the voltage. And then I need something for the SB2s---either a 1spot or the SA adapter. The 1spot adds a ton of bulk because the cable is so long and a thicker gauge.

Maybe that Mooer Micro adapter would be a good investment after all...

As soon as I see positive reviews on the Mooer Micro, I am getting at least one to test on the PT-2, then 4 for the PT-Pro if that works out. I am just running into limitations of having multiple 1-Spots and Poweralls. And, on the PT-2, the DisasterArea DMC3-XL g2 really HATES being on the powerall, even though it is just there with an FEA DE-CL, Fifth Gear, PorkLoin and Ditto. I need to simplify thing and would like to keep all my power generations for the two boards to under 500-600$

I am still waiting for my Chinese voltage transformer boards :( It is taking a lot more time than I expected. I already drilled two enclosures. The Hammond boxes that I ordered may have been too small for the power jacks I got. It still fits but awkwardly at an angle.

I still need to find an affordable Canadian supply of the 3M pcb tape. Digikey is fine but I would have to buy a huge super expensive roll.

I'm using the mooer. In terms of power, there's no problem, and under normal usage I haven't had significant noise problems. Used to have a bit of noise problems previously with my boss compressor into mwbd pro with high gain, but I suspect I could have set the noise gate higher. Now I'm running ofd -> mwbd 2 -> manta with low gate on the ofd (always on) and some gate on the mwbd2, I don't have that kind of problem.

But when I plug in my MIDI controller AND the hub, I get some whining. Probably not a concern for most users though, i think my arduino is generating the noise through the usb out to the hub usb in. The noise gate on my zoom solves that though. I haven't tried with a dedicated power supply.

One last thing, a while back I posted a short clip of a clicking sound whenever the stomp indicator flashes. Today I finally tried the mwbd pro alone with the official power supply and it doesn't happen, so yeah it's the shared power on the mooer I guess. I don't see this as a major concern though.

The DMC-3XL is also arduino based. It does generate quite a bit of noise when not ion it's own power supply for me. But, it is hard to judge in my case because I have about 40 devices between my two board. I do plan on having the hub and all controllers not interconnected by an audio jack to be on a completely separate ground loop. May as well isolate those since they are the only devices on my boards that can actually have their grounds isolated from the rest.
