Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

I don't have this pedal myself but according to the manual you can do it using an expression pedal

"Using the REVERB SEND for bypass trailing

A common problem when bypassing reverb and delay effects is that the trailing sound is lost. When the REVERB SEND is assigned to the Expression Pedal, it can also be used as a “soft” bypass. With the expression pedal in the toe down position, the reverb will be fully engaged. By moving to the expression pedal to the heel down position, this will effectively bypass the effect but allow the reverb to trail off."

But there's no exp input...

There's a specific way to turn it on, holding down a button or both, can't remember.

I really hope so, don't want to put an exp pedal on the board just for reverb.

I can't find it in the manual but in discussions SA people mention the Dimension has three bypass modes; true, buffered and soft, where soft apparently gives you reverb trails. Hopefully someone can step in and tell you how to enable this without an expression pedal.

EDIT: Apparently there is an extra piece of paper in the box that describes how to enable it, since this mode was added after the printing of the manual, maybe you have it.

Did you search the Source Audio web site? For manual and updates?

Read the manual, says I need an expression pedal and I can't update because I don't own the hub...

The Reverb sounds great but I don't own other SA gear and I'm not in a position where I can go buying all the other ones and the hub so I can utilise all their features :(

Hopefully I can just flip it for what I bought it for, SA stuff sounds great but it seems to be more suited for those who are more brand loyal than myself, I like to mix and match :)

For the Soundblox 2 Dimension Reverb how do I get trails going?

Answer:

Hello

To hear the reverb tail after you switch off the effect you should change the bypass mode.

For this option:
1 - Unplug your from the 9V DC
2 - Press both foot switches simultaneously
3 - Plug your power back on (Preset lights should blink)

Now when you bypass the reverb, you should still hear the reverb tail.
hope this helps!

Hey Source Audio people, just a quick and possibly dumb question - I want the Lunar I buy to benefit you as a company and I'm having trouble finding outlets. Is the Amazon seller of the One Series "AudioSource" affiliated with you at all? Just want to make sure.

Amazon is sooooo sloppy. Sometime they list us as Source Audio and sometimes Audio Source. Yes, it is all us. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY! I have told them to fix it over and over.

Thanks for getting a Lunar. Hope you like it!

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!! Seemed odd so I figured I'd ask. Can't wait to try out the Lunar :) Thanks again to Nathan and Sleeve for the awesome suggestions for stacking phasers.
