Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Hub won't connect with hub manager. Plugged in usb. Computer recognizes something is connected. Hub does nothing. Several days and many hours of frustration and still inoperable......

Edit: Soleman same situation
Nathan and Jeff are the best at this sort of thing. They help folks from time to time. Most of my suggestions are the obvious. First thing tomorrow morning they will be available.
Sorry!

I am planning to buy an Aftershock. Does anybody have a patch for Simple Boy or Goliath by Karnivool? The new Darkglass pedal seems too pricy for me, and I would like to explore the Aftershock's capabilities as well.
Probably better off asking in the aftershock thread or could look at the neuro app before you get it? Karnivool pre the dark glass AO is some convoluted multiple drive setup I believed...

Yeah most of the neuro patches seems to be uploads from muse fans or gates fuzz stuff... that said with the ability to get two engines running in parallel or serial ( plus the eq etc) and blend in clean I think you can get there, just would need to experiment... it's my main issue, there's lots of sounds I know I could get in there just don't have time to make settings.

From memory before the alpha omega was done it was b#k and a boss odb blended with the Warwick tone or something like that, aftershock has a few b#k engines and a similar to odb engine so you should be able to make the patch... good luck on anyone making one for you though, was looking for rat type ones and had to use an existing patch then modify to get what I wanted.

Wanted to ask a couple of things about the Manta:

I got one about a week ago and for the life of me can't seem to figure exactly where each distortion type begins. Obviously fully CCW is clean, but when I turned the drive all the way up and started turning the dial, I couldn't quite figure where say for example octave went to foldback because both seem to have kind of a synthy "squishy" quality. Does anyone know the approximate knob positions for each distortion? For example soft clip @ 9 o'clock, octave at 11 o'clock etc.

The other thing is the Manta doesn't seem to entirely work with my Neuro Hub. It'll show in the Hub manager software, but opening it in the software and adjusting the dials from there does nothing. To save it to a scene I've been having to adjust the physical pedal, then click read pedal and it'll save it that way.

I could be wrong, but Reflex can generate midi controls on midi out port. It's one of its features? Maybe I am not understanding the question? @nathannavarro can chime in too.
The Reflex merges incoming MIDI messages with the ones it sends itself on the output (i.e MIDI port set to "Thru"), whereas it would sometimes be useful to listen to incoming messages but only send its own (i.e "Out").
