I for one am really glad you guys tossed out some stickers. I'm showing mine proudly on the front of one of the legs of my board and I put the HH flame on my bass case. I'll post a pic when I get home of the board sticker.

Cost + size are the primary things that would keep me from full MIDI. This takes care of at least one of those.

I've experienced that the quak of some envelope filters sometimes may be much louder than the overall sound that is dialled in. I don't know about the BEF, but compressors after it can do good limiting jobs. But maybe this isn't the case with the Source Audio.

Yep, agreed...after a few days of experimenting, the mxr m87 compressor has found it's home after the MWBD Pro and the BEF Pro. With the BEF Pro, your statement holds water, the compressor does a good job at limiting. Also the Boss OC-2 is responding just fine at the front of the chain, and without the compressor ahead of it. Thanks for all the input on this subject!

Word up Sorcerers! I covet your prompt responses...

I am considering taking advantage of a Memorial Day sale to pick up a Dual Expression Pedal. Right now I am using an Ernie Ball VP Jr. 25k connected to a Modfactor and a Yamaha FC-7 connected to a Behringer BSY600. Both work great but consolidation would be even better.

The Modfactor wants 25k mono, but I've found that TRS cables connected to the EBVP Jr. work fine. Also, I have a this1smyne 25k TRS expression knob for my Pitchfactor and both TRS and mono cables seem to work. The Behringer wants 50k TRS. My understanding of the DEP is that it's 50k, and with the dial to roll back Output 2, I could get it to effectively 25k, while Output 1 is still 50k.

I had a back and forth with the SA guys this past week about various unrelated issues, but this particular question didn't quite get answered and I don't expect they will answer over the holiday weekend, so that's why I calling on the collective S.A.S.S. wisdom to figure this out in <24 hours...

So here are my questions:
(1) Do I correctly understand how the two outputs work?
(2) Does anyone have any experience with the DEP with either of these pedals? (Behringer BSY600 or Eventide Factor series?)
(3) For the Eventide, if anyone does have experience, do you use TRS or mono cables?
(4) The product page/manual says that the sensor and Output 1 CANNOT be used simultaneously. So if the sensor output and Output 1 are both plugged in, what happens? (I assume the default is the sensor.) Or is there any way to choose which one is active without plugging in/unplugging the cables?

A few more hours until I take advantage of Prymaxe's sale and generous return policy and just answer the question myself bump. :D
