Hmmm, while I patiently wait for the release...what SA accessories should I consider for Spectrum?

I’m not really into the hub stuff, But I’m digging the idea of getting another hot hand system. Maybe an SA expression pedal. I had the first gen of wireless but lost the ring in a move some how.

The dual expression pedal is a great tool. I had one for a long time. Never tried the hot hand but I bet it’s every bit as cool as it seems

I own a HH3 that I never use. I never really got it to do the cool things you see in Nathan's videos, I feel like there could be any number of reasons for that - related to the product and/or the talent disparity between Navarro and I.

Maybe I'll give it a whirl again when I get the C4.

2 top reasons Hot Hand doesn't do it:
1) The wrong type of effect. Filter with a good sweep works the best.
2) The axis of Hot Hand motion is not aligned with a natural motion of the player due to hand position. This can be adjusted by changing the axis.

At the time I got a lot of advice from SA on (1), though I experimented with some other stuff as well. That helped a lot but didn't get me all the way there. Never sure I was able to figure out (2).

I more or less understood setting up the axes, just couldn't get the playing technique down. I will probably revisit this video, though.

Seems like my hub v.1 is not talking to my sb2 pedals. Pedals are able to pass audio, save scenes. Soleman is reset to factory default. I used the Hub manager to erase all Hub scenes.

1. Manta, OFB and Orbital Mod don’t display in the Hub Manager software. I’m not 100% sure they should. But...
2. I want everything off as scene 0 so all pedals off, I press and hold Save on the Hub.
3. Press up on the Soleman to point to scene 1
4. After saving a ‘sound’ on one of the SB2, I hold the Save button on the Hub until I get the flashes.
5. Press down on the Soleman (get a single green led flash). Soleman shows that I am in scene 0 and... effect is still on.
6. Turn off the effect.
7. Press up on the Soleman. Shows I am in scene 1. Effect stays off.

Probably I’m just doing something wrong. Any ideas ?

Upside is I found a couple of nice distortion patches for my Friday night gig while experimenting. Very Live Cream Vol II era Jack Bruce. Will work nicely for a cover of Born Under A Bad Sign we worked up. We don’t do many covers so the few we do need a little extra sumpin’

Also, be sure Hub firmware is updated.

Also, make sure that you are going to the multisensor IN on the sb2 pedal side (I.e
if your pedals also don't show in the hub manager). I recently rearranged my board and then could not get the manta to connect to the hub. I even swapped the trrs cable several times! Only when I went to the store to have it sent out for inspection did I notice that there were a multisensor in AND out, as opposed to the singular multisensor in on the ONE pedals..and all this time - since the rearrangement of pedals - did I accidentally use the multisensor OUT haha. It left me quite embarrassed. But it fixed the problem

I was reading the O/F/D manual late last night and the pic of the I/O made me go...dang... up at 5:30 this morning and fixed it is. Sheepish am I. ;-)

Next challenge, conquer the prog change transmit to the EQ so I can have EQ patch changes for my filter and disto settings.

That and a Soleman tweak... I’d like to be able to reset the patch to my default on 1 AND clear the last accessed patch value. Reading I will be...

Is there a video for setting up a Soleman to drive SB 2 pedals and Prog EQ ? I’m a bit of a m’idiot it seems... the goal for me is an eq patch that will affect Manta patches and add a little beef back in for the most part.
