Looking over your very sweet pedal choices...there's one glaring hole in the market still...hint hint hint source Audio...a really good midi controllable compressor. The only one I've found so far is the Sonus Volume pedal and that's got loads of other stuff on it too.

The Voluum is a great compressor with midi. I also use it as an expression pedal over midi. The expression over midi implementation with the SB2 pedals isn't so great, so I am waiting (im)patiently for the C4 and 1series Multiwave as the 1series devices are much more flexible with midi CC assignments...

Some questions about the C4 Synth (these may have been answered already but I couldn't find them readily):

Can it be set up for expression control over filter sweeps so I could manually sweep the filter? Would this work with a standard expression pedal or would I need to try and find a Reflex? Would the reflex be overkill given the modulation abilities already available within the C4?

I already have an analog filter, would it be a waste of the C4's capabilities to just use it as an oscillator module and run it through my filter? Would it be better to sell the analog filter? I an definitely considering selling my analog octave and POG and replacing them with the C4.

Definitely yes on Hot Hand. Probably yes on MIDI clock.

It is a definite yes as far as MIDI clock is concerned, but I am not sure about how it will be assigned. There is an LFO obviously, and I suppose the default is there, but I am not exactly sure if that same LFO is used across all of the things in C4 that have oscillation and speed control. Note that the firmware is not final and MIDI clock is one of the last things that is done.
