@rsmith601 Minor nitpick, but would it be possible to make the LED red when you have the C4 set to preset mode? I'm used to that from all of the other Source Audio One Series, so it's a little disorienting.

@rsmith601 Congrats on the C4 launch, looks like it's going pretty good
So after checking out the manual and Neuro app for the C4, I came across two features I really, really wish the Aftershock had (which I own): the first is "WYSIWYG" mode as you call it on the C4 to be selectable instead of "red mode" on the Aftershock and the other is the "reset to defaults button" on the top of the editing interface of the C4. Sure, the Aftershock is not the C4 but it's still complex enough that the button would come in handy when designing a new sound from scratch. Is there any chance that those two things will come per firmware update once the dust has settled a bit? That would be awesome!
And if you don't mind, I also have a question on the Gemini/Lunar/Mercury. I understand that you can use the sounds from all three, no matter which pedal you physically use. However, the knobs are a bit different between them. For example, I have not seen a way to adjust the Sine/Square wave for the phasers if i use the Phaser sounds on a Gemini (which is the setup I am seriously GASing for). Or do the two bottom knobs on the pedal take on the function they would have on the "original" pedal automatically?

Let me explain. No, sliding doesn't take long. What takes a long time is trying to get the damn thing to an exact value.I am looking at Android at the moment, and all you need to do it tap in the middle of the slider, and the level will jump to wherever you need it. I assume iOS is the same? (actually, I just looked at iOS, and you do need to slide it or enter the value). Sliding does not seem to take very long.
With all of this said, I am in favor or adding in a voice at a low level. It can be so easy for output levels to get out of hand with the C4, and I kind of like the idea that one must intentionally go louder. Hope this makes sense. I am not sure there is one best way to do this for everyone.

I mean.....OK, so the Level is all relative, right? I've been treating 127 as the default main voice level (1/2 way point, and I think that's what voice 1 starts at by default?). Then I set appropriate main volume based around that, and then pulling each voice level down from there a bit if I want to back something off and bumping it up a bit if I want to have the voice boosted from my standard output level. Does that make sense? I've only played through headphones so far, so maybe that approach is wrong. Am I going to explode speakers? Now that I'm looking at some community ones in the app I see a lot of patches with Level set between 20 and 40.

I believe that mode is called "Preset Mode" and it is one of the Preset Options in the Mobile App and the Desktop Editor. For the C4 we thought it was less effective as the default mode than what is offered out of the box. The manual describes these options in quite a bit of detail.
Could you give us a little more about the “can’t say” mystery releases? I know one is a new device but is the other an effect/accessory/software/etc? I know SA doesn’t really do mystery releases - I guess True Spring has really been the only one to date - so I totally respect if you want to keep the secret.
January? can’t happen soon enough, I have been (im)patiently waiting for the 1series Multiwave since the 1series product line was released however many years ago.

I think I have something that will be really helpful. Nathan has a preset you can load which is kind of all set as a starting point for preset creation. Check it out!

I can't share what we are doing other than to say these 2 things are pedals. I have noticed that some big pedal companies are starting to react to what we are doing. So, I need to be a bit careful in sharing things that can be used against us. I suppose this is good in some ways, but I would rather be 100% open all the time.
The Multiwave in a One Series 2 years ago would have been ignored. I am glad we waited until the pedal world was more ready to accept it.

The knobs on the pedals (Gemini, Lunar and Mercury) are fixed and not assignable. I got a Gemini as I liked the colour best, sadly I can’t do without the resonance knob and I mainly want the phasers so will be getting a Lunar (or Orbital) instead.@rsmith601 Congrats on the C4 launch, looks like it's going pretty good

My question was in regards to the LED color. In Preset mode the LED is green and not red.
That's an interesting trend. You guys are swimming with the big fish! Reaaaally looking forward to what you guys come out with going forward.
I have to admit when I first heard about the One Series Multiwave I wasn't really thst hype but you guys are refining the formula so much now that It's realistically on my list.
I did think it was strange that Boss came out of nowhere to cut you guys off. Their SY-1 came out of the gate heavy on the google/YouTube algorithms right when I thought C4 would bubble to the top.

Actually, you get two banks of presets in preset mode. You get 3 Green and 3 Red. In the Aftershock you only get 3 presets in WYSYWIG mode and 3 presets in preset mode. Now, you get 6 presets in 3 different modes each: 1) Standard mode, 2) preset mode, 3) WYSYWIG. Standard mode is handy:
Standard (Default) Mode In Standard Mode each preset engages with a pre-programmed preset, meaning the physical positions of the knobs do not affect the sound of the preset. It is, however, possible to reach down and make knob adjustments on the fly. If, after making a knob adjustment, the pedal is bypassed then reengaged without moving the toggle switch, the sound will continue to reflect the new knob positions. If the toggle switch is moved (regardless of whether the effect is engaged or engaged), the pedal will revert to the parameter settings of the saved preset.
Made the mistake of going to the Sweetwater sight, found a demo model, got a SW CC, and my C4 is on it's way. I may have a Manta and an OC2 for sale soon!
@rsmith601 Is phase inversion something you can set up as a parameter in a digital pedal?

I noticed that too! It really bummed me out because the C4 is gamechanging and the sy-1 just seems like an ehx whatever-9 rehash/rebox with the boss logo.
For any doubters out there I really believe everyone owes it to themselves to try the Multiwave whether it be the SB, SB Pro or SB2 version, there is really nothing else like it. I had a similar sentiment as you but got one on a whim and it is by far my favorite drive/distortion effect. This is very much it’s own thing, not trying at all to be like something else. The octave engines alone are inspiring.
