Slightly noob question but my Aftershock just came in today and looking at how I'll reconfigure my board - if I'm going Aftershock -> C4 do I need to connect both output 1 and 2 with input 1 and 2?
Depends on what you are trying to accomplish and what your routing settings are on each pedal.

You don't need to.

You should just because. You can set the Aftershock to run
Mono In > Stereo Process (if you don't plan to run two Distortion engines Parallel you can just process in Mono) > Mono Out
which will ignore your Aftershock output 2 if you just want
Aftershock Output 1 > C4 Input 1

But if you have both outputs on the AS routed to both inputs on the C4 you will always have the option to stereo process your signal without needing to redo your pedalboard.

If you want to set the Aftershock to run
Mono In > Stereo Process > Stereo Out
you can send
Aftershock Output 1 > C4 Input 1
Aftershock Output 2 > C4 Input 2
for way more tone sculpting flexibility.

I run both outs on my AS to both ins on my C4 because all of my AS presets are stereo processed and I like processing my stereo path with different parallel synth voices.

Awesome, thanks for the thorough response! I'm really excited to dig in to these two pedals now. I also received a Hub today so there's a lot to learn. I might hold off on incorporating the Hub until I've gotten a better handle of each pedal (and until the Hub supports the C4).

I'm right there with you dude haha I've just been learning the tech and interaction between all the tech. The aftershock is more layers than I originally thought with the 2 sides. I was not ready for that.

Yeah, dialing in sounds on that thing is going to be a really interesting challenge. Going through examples, figuring out how a player got that tone and trying to emulate will be pretty neat. I've always loved the J bass tone that Dan Andriano gets so I might scope that out.

I only messed with putting the AS into the C4 for a few minutes but it seemed like the C4 didn't generally like having that driven signal put in. I'll mess around with pedal order and patches and see what I can do.

I have my C4 pretty early so the AS is after it and it sounds pretty great with most things I've tried so far. I just linked my AS and C4 via a TS cable so I can edit them at with the neuro app without running two neuro cords from each pedal. Now I just have one going into the C4.

Got my rockboard midi cable in today. I'm gonna have to revamp my board. I thought I could get away with just taking away a couple and adding a couple. But with the added hub and midi stuff, I'll have to revamp. That's ok though. I love board revamps :D

@rsmith601 non c4 question - will the reflex expression controller save presets if I power it with my board power supply and dont put a battery in it or does the battery need to be in for it to remember presets?
My presets are saved without the battery

I haven't downloaded any. But I have burned a couple from the editor to the pedal which went fine. But then that's not the same as downloading then I don't think.
That's weird- are you downloading the presets via safari or chrome from the neuro community webpage? I've always just browsed via the 'cloud' section directly in the Neuro app and never seen that error on my Mac.
That solved the problem... clicked the cloud button and voila! Thanks @intrglctcrevfnk

Sometimes my vertigo tremolo has been a bit wonky. I still haven't sat down to troubleshoot it, but its been really finnicky with dealing with midi clock and presets.
It also crashes on the desktop for me, but can burn to it with the app.
Thanks for that. I'm assuming your Neuro and Trem are both updated?
Mind listing your OS?
Hopefully we can give the SA team enough detail to pinpoint the issues and fix it on their end. I have a feeling that with all the units being released something somewhere in Neuro is messed up.
