Found my issue. When I plugged everything back in after the revamp, I plugged my midi cord into the wrong port on the hub. Friggen midi :rollno::bawl::bored:

But here’s what’s really weird. Now I have 6 presets in the C4. And none of them are ones I put in there! Haha They may be ones that are factory stored I bet.

So when I get all my presets programmed in that I want, all I have to do it hit “SAVE” on the left hand top side of the editor where it says “C4 presets” and it’ll save my existing setup the way I left it???

sweet board! We have several of the same pedals.

Love the artwork on the whammy pedal. Mine still has the cheesy Whammy logo but I dig the grippy surface. Did you sand it to give it some grip? Did the original grip come off easy?

Also you might need to turn that SpectraComp 180* so you can hit the button while the whammy is heel down.

I leave the comp on all the time and would actually prefer to hit the footswitch over the one knob haha the print I use is a lot easier to recover from with my feet if I just hit the switch on accident. Thanks for the thought though!

And thanks for the kudos. I love my board the way it is. Most of it’s been the same for a while now. Ever since I got the HX pretty much. It’s made me quite content overall. I’d like to swap the actual board out eventually. But all in good time. The whammy is a plate that was etched. And it’s actually on top of the existing pad I think. Dropping acid etching did the job. He did my wah plate too. And I thought that material would be pretty slippery. But as long as it stays dry, it’s actually better than the rubber that was on them originally. Especially as that rubber ages. The artwork on the whammy is Alex grey. On the wah it’s a design I came up with for my old band Killing gods.

In other news, I think I got it!!!! I wasn’t hitting “SAVE” in that “C4 Presets” window in the editor before I closed it out every time I used it. So now, I got my HX controlling preset switching up and down thru the hub and I’ve got 10 presets on the C4 atm. That’ll grow though now that ive figured out some key things. This is awesome! I’ll get the AS working with all this soon enough as well. Fun stuff!! Thanks to all who’ve helped and thrown out suggestions. Always greatly appreciated.

I can get the firmware update to my computer, but can not for the life of me figure out how to get it onto my pedal. This is so frustrating, I just want it to work, so I can use my C4!!!

You’ll get it. Just keep hunting, asking and keep the patience. I know for me, I sat down a couple days and was determined to get all this hub and midi stuff figured and done. I ended up sitting there aimlessly fumbling. Did that for about an hour and just got tired and gave up. But over the last few days I did it in pieces. And now I’m all set. Just took me some time. I can usually figure this stuff out pretty quick but midi is way new to me. To it just took time. I’m still not great with it. But for what I’m using it for, it’s working.

Once the DMC Micro works, I’ll be set. Is there a way to control the MS60B and the Manta from the DMC?

Hey @rsmith601, is it just me or does the editor not communicate well with the C4 yet? I got it all see the way I want it, things are working with hub and midi choice. But then if I plug my C4 into the neuro app after all that, and I try to burn a new preset to an open preset spot, but all the presets are genetically named still....is that a normal thing or will the neuro app eventually be able to read your newly mapped and burned C4??

Do not have the Hub connected to your computer at the same time as the C4. Only talk to the C4 directly and by itself. This will be resolved eventually, but for now they must be connected to the computer independently.
