Hmmm... Might have to revisit the Aftershock as well. I passed mine along because I felt I wasn't really using it's full potential, since that was before I started getting into MIDI. Now that I have a Hub on the way, maybe worth a second trip.

Yep. I found out because I got a call from Sweetwater saying they were shipping mine out. I also have a FI on my board right now so we'll see. So far at the very least I can say that the interface seems a bit more approachable.

If you're trying to map the C4, you have to do it from the pedal in the editor. Hub isn't gonna do anything for you here, it just passes MIDI to the C4. There's literally nothing you can change on the Hub's settings for the C4/Spectrum other than the MIDI channel...

Well, we confirmed it. If you create a preset on the LA Lady, then save it to your library, then try to burn it from your Library to your Aftershock, it will not stick when using your phone. The work around is to publish the preset to the cloud and then you can burn it to the pedal. This is the first time this has ever come up. It is not a usual case!

@benevan and anyone else who cares......great news. Jesse was able to save a complete set of C4 preset parameters to his Hub today. It is NOT a pointer to a preset, it is actually saving all of the knobs and parameters. This means that he has created the Hub firmware and also the C4 pedal firmware that will make this all work. The last step is to update the Neuro Desktop to ensure it can also make it all happen. When that is done, we will need to test it. If there are a few hard core Hub users and C4 users who want to help test. Please send me a PM. Our plan is to roll all of this out publicly in 4 weeks or less. What a relief!! It was worrying me.....

So for those of us that are less experienced with the Neuro/Hub ecosystem... Does this mean that we'll still be able to save presets on the C4 as it's been so far AND be able to save the C4 into Scenes on the Hub? Or will C4 presets now be switched over exclusively to the Hub? (Apologies if this is a n00b question, my incoming Hub will be my first hands on with it!)

So what happened today? None of my computers will recognize the Soectrun says unsupported . And it worked earlier today. We had a power glitch earlier today and the Neuro desktop app would not work after also a few other downloads . So I deleted them and downloaded them again . Now it will recognize the C4 But not the Spectrum. Any Ideas?

I know I've been having some crazy stuff happening lately too. Some of it was of my own thoughtlessness. But some of it just straight up glitch. I think they are simply doing a lot to all the new device firmware and so forth. I think it'll be a couple months before all of them work like well oiled machines together in the hub ecosystem. Not to say that's what you are talking about, but I feel like they are all related atm since the Spectrum dropped. A lot of updates and pushes being made in that arena for SA since the C4 dropped even.

I look forward to the day that the C4 and Spectrum are fully supported on the hub. Cause it's def causing me some weirdness and confusion at times. But then again, all of these new toys are.

I don't really have any use for a hub ( not meant to be snarky there is too much of that already I don't need to add more) . I had one a while ago and aside from getting everything connected to it and having it recognize the pedals that was about as far as I could get with it . I really want to figure out how they work so I can get more Presets for my aftershock. But using that thing to control more than one pedal is never going to happen for me. I will be lucky if I can get it to switch presets in the Aftershock. I am going to use 2 Disaster Area Pedals to switch the Spectrum and the C4. It is so much easier. But I also look forward to the day when all this stuff actually works like it is supposed to. The crazy thing is it was working then not working. And it worked on all 3 computers this morning and only one had a non functioning Neuro app. And I downloaded a fresh version after the power thing and it works with the C4 but not the Spectrum go figure. .

The HUB scenes are separate from the presets local to the pedal. So you could have 128 presets on the Spectrum/C4 another 128 presets on the HUB.

But if you have a good controller with a number of presets (both of those controllers do) and a few banks, it's not bad either.

Just bit the bullet and ordered a hub, soleman and cables from Sweetwater. The setlist mode is what decided it for me, and it's a bit more compact! Thanks for your help :)

Sat down tonight working on a texture concept.

MBD-1 > FEA DB-CL > C4 > RV-500

In the clip you'll hear the MBD-1 first alone, then with a Space Echo effect applied by the RV-500, then finally I engage the C4 for a swelling tremolo effect.
Its sloppy so be ready.

My signal is split at about 220hz after the FEA DB-CL. The high frequencies are fed into the C4 parallel to the low frequencies. The high tremolo LFO speed is running 4x the speed of the low tremolo side. The LFO resets when the envelope is triggered and I've applied a Swell envelope to each voice.

I really like applying dirt before the frequency split here. It helps accentuate the high tremolo side.

Not entirely sure how I want to use this yet. Still working on the preset itself but at some point you just gotta take your hands off the editor and play around.
