If I finally buy a C4, I'm thinking about using my HxFx as the Tap Tempo Switch of Source Audio to scroll the 6 presets. It would need a little circuit to make it work.

If you do this, post how! It's a cool idea. I assume you're talking about using one of the "Pedal" TRS outputs on the HX and adapting it to go into the control input on the C4?

In the mean time, I did get my SA Neuro Hub last night. I've had a hard time sort of envisioning it's size, it's been hard to get a feel for it from online pics, so here's a few shots compared to a pedal that most people will be pretty familiar with for size comparison:
It may fit under my board, at the 'tall' end, but I'm concerned about those buttons being errantly hit. If not I may be able to snuggle it on to the face of my board, if indeed the C4 clears off a few envelopes or whatever.
From any pictures I saw previously I thought it was a plastic housing, and was pleasantly surprised that it's a good solid metal build.

For sure! I just think @Diegombass is looking to get the most out of his existing setup. I have a Hub and space for it to be mounted, so it's not an issue of adding functionality for me personally. The solution he's talking about is potentially another option for those who don't need all the stuff a Hub or DA controller add. Then again, if you already have an HXFX, I'm guessing it's not about saving space...

Yep. Made me feel better about springing for it, once I opened it up. I won't have to install/implement it on my board for another week or two, so I'll play around with how to get it situated best.
I need to replicate 2 sounds (at least) I use in the set live to get it on my board.
First move is to try to replicate a similar (or better) tone than I have from my Joshwah envelope. I figure this should be straight ahead because it's not some crazy tone, just a bit of edgy break up, quick envelope fairly wide frequency & moderate resonance... then move on to my X-over->Fuzz->XeroDeluxe (swept by expression). Both are sounds I use in every set, with certainty.
If those are solid, the C4 would replace 3 to 4 pedals on my board right off.
If those are pretty easy for me to find or build I can get it on my board fairly quickly. Next up will be to see how close I can get to the Future Impact for Zach Rizer's Blade Runner patch, which I use occasionally in a few forms (layered with stuff).
Bumping this to see if someone would be willing to upload the Spectrum presets. I think there are a few of us that would really appreciateit.

I don't think the C4 does any MIDI controlling, but any number of programmable MIDI controllers could do this.
If the C4 can really replace all of that tone that would be more than impressive!

A few questions for understanding from a new After Shock owner. I've searched this and other resources a lot, and want to make sure I understand correctly:
1. The green presets are "WYSIWYG". If I save a setting to a green slot, it will save all the EQ/app settings except drive/clean/tone/level which will always reflect be the knob positions after I send all/burn (but only after I adjust a knob?). The Red presets are "true" presets- if I pull one up, make adjustments, change to another preset, and then go back, it will go back to what was saved there regardless of knob position. Is this correct?
2. I'm also getting a Lunar/Gemini/Mercury soon. I have a Digitech 3 button footswitch with custom art I'd like to use as the external switch. It is required to use the above 3.5 TRRS circuits to do engine change for AS and tap tempo for L/G/M, correct? There is no 1/4" switch/circuit that can be used with a 1/8" adapter?
3. Is there a visual indication of which engine/side is being used in the AS when using an external footswitch ? Can a LED be added to the 3.5 TRRS circuit?

2. No. Must be the custom circuit. This feature was added long after the post was there.
3. Yes, this could be designed and built by someone with some reasonable analog circuit design experience. We have thought about doing something like this in the past.
It's pretty small, but once its populated with Power. Midi in / outs and Source Audio mini jacks....it takes up a fair amount of space due to the cable routes. Yes it's hard to pre-imagine / plan for the Neuro...it kind of took up a lot more space than I initially thought it would...but hey...it works very well and once understood and programmed...it performs really well. Currently my Neuro hub controls the midi aspect of my Aftershock. I have my Boss ES5 sending the midi signals to the Hub and it's passing these on to my Aftershock really well.
I'm REALLY looking forwards to joining you guys with adding a C4 to my rig...but here in the UK supply is fairly scarce at the moment. Once supply is more readily available (prolly closer to xmas) I can align the restock frequency with my payrol frequency!

I've been through a handful of straight and right angle MIDI cables...and the winner is the One Control Hammer Angle MIDI cable. They won't pass power, so if you have MIDI powered devices it's a no-go but if you're looking for the best to be compact, it's the choice. None of the right-angle cables worked for me at all. They almost all cover other ports/connectors on every pedal.
