Not insane, but I've come to 'expect the unexpected' when it comes to working with MIDI commands and implementations. I have several songs where I patch briefly between sounds, but I use an ES-5 and have banks set up on buttons next to each other to go back and forth.

I tried that via the HX, but that was a lot of tap dancing!

I can get MIDI CC#46 to work with the Manta, turning the pedal on and off, but it seems to affect the patch somehow, to where the sensitivity has changed, or maybe there is a gate engaging... not sure. MIDI CC#41 still doesn't do anything.

Dual channel processing modulation in series or parallel. Few more effects types. MIDI I/IO.
I may want a Mercury Flanger but I would NEED one of these.

Ok, I found a solution-

Instead of changing parameters on the pedals themselves, I have one footswitch on the MC6 that simultanesouly calls up an fx loop patch on the HX (which now has the Manta on one loop, and the FI and C4 on the other) and the necessary patches on both the C4 and Manta. The HX patch has both effects loops open, but I have the Manta loop set to 100% wet mix, and the C4 loop to 100% dry. I then set up each loop to respond to a single CC message (the same CC#), so that when I press the footswitch on the MC6, it completely flip flops each loops' mix, then flips it back when I release it. Since both pedals are on, there is no more delay when switching between the 2 mixes, and is nearly instantaneous.

I forgot to mention I also have an M-Audio 2x2 MIDI Merge in the chain so neurohub can receive PC# from Croceye, expression/midi CC# from Reflex, and MIDI clock from micro.clock.

Croceye > Reflex > MIDI Merge > Neurohub
micro.clock > MIDI Merge

Ok so update on the MIDI response problems for anyone interested. After switching up the MIDI chain, all issues seem to be eliminated, and believe me when I say I tested the crap out of it trying to confuse the system. I am unsure exactly why the new set up works, but happy it does. I ended up losing MIDI expression capability for one pedal with this setup, but the gained the benefit of the Reflex receiving MIDI clock, so its a fair trade i'd say. Here is the new chain:

Croceye > MIDI Merge > Reflex > Neurohub
micro.clock > MIDI Merge

On another note, how does one obtain a S.A.S.S. number? At this point SA products are at the core of my board.

I'm currently using a Strymon Mobius for my unified modulation needs...it's a big paving slab of Modulation loveliness. It takes up a lot of board space. BUT....all I need is a Chorus, Flanger, Vibrato, Rotary Sim, Phaser and Harmonic Tremolo all in a small box and I'm a happy boy. Make it dual channel stack able and I'll be even happier.

Oh happy days!! That is one hell of a great score for a NPD! Both of these are staples on my board now. I have the HX and they are still never going anywhere. The MBD is my go-to for boosted, overdriven bass tones. Love that thing!
