I had preordered it when it was out of stock and got the shipping notice today. Monday could be the day...Meanwhile in Europe the plot thickens. C4 is in stock at Thomann, which means I'll probably get to play with one next week!

I don’t own either at the moment but plan on getting both when the HUB support functionality goes live. C4 on the bass board and the spectrum for my guitar board. How many C4 users are also now or going to be Spectrum users ? Just curious.

My conservative estimate could be Tuesday, but it looks like at least two C4s are going to Cologne then.
Hace you done an A/B comparison?Call me old fashion..but a neither a Spectrum nor a C4 is going to replace my 3Leaf Audio (analog) Chromatron envelope filter.
No I don't see getting a Spectrum, otoh I am not planning on thinning the herd as I see a lot of folks planning to do.How many C4 users are also now or going to be Spectrum users ? Just curious.
Yes of course. There are some excellent envelope filter presets for the C4. But I'm partial to analog filters and know my way around on the Chromatron. On the other hand, I've found some awesome moog emulations for the C4 that may render my Cog Effects Octaver unnecessary.Hace you done an A/B comparison?
Thanks it's all in the rub and slow smoking, Roadhouse BBQ is always the best. Watch out for heart burn and ramble on!@bassbrad - I got a heapin’ of that Triple Meat Plate! Was scratching my head for a second thing to figure out how you did it. The -1 & +1 octaves fit in nicely, I didn’t even notice they were on. Sounded like lasers in the distance and the heavy grumble of a diesel engine close by.
Solid octave/filter! Saved it to my up front 3 C4 panels!

1. Not yet, it’s coming soon. But if you want to access presets from the C4 and can only use PC, you need the micro ghost. If your fine just using hub scenes and not having direct access to the C4 presets, then you can just use the hub once it’s fully supported.Hi !
French guy here and my first post on TB ! I'm reading you since years... always find response here but i've now 2 big problems where i cant find solutions...i've reading last 100 pages of this topic, but it stills confusing for me...
I already have an Aftershock, black neuro hub, zoom expression pedal fm02p, usb hot hand, may be a second soon, non USB.
I'm dreaming, i WANT this C4... but no date of delivery since this morning from thomann
First question... Is it now possible to see and program the C4 in the Hub manager (with firmware update ok) and control my neurohub-scene with a simple Program Change (can not send CC103/104) from a standard MIDI 5 pins -> hub -> C4 ? Or I absolutly need an USB host ? I can have a cheap Tech 21 midi mouse ...(not enough money to buy a soleman - other dreaming - the C4 and one the lunar-gemini-mercury trilogy... very expensive in UE).
- Second question, just with my Aftershock, i can't work on the Neurodesktop and Hub Manager in the same time. Is it normal ? One or other, but not together.
Thx GuyZ !
And sorry for my english, try to do my best !
Regards
DM
Well, never give up hope that DHL actually do their jobs![]()
Same hereThey might, but don't seem to have received them yet. In the meantime, they're out of stock again. They seem to go fast.![]()
other dreaming - the C4 and one the lunar-gemini-mercury trilogy...
I think he meant one of the three.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Lunar, Gemini and Mercury (and Vertigo) all have the same sounds inside, don't they? So if you have one, and a Hub/Midi switcher, all 3 would be redundant, unless you're looking to layer things. Same with the Aftershock, LA Lady and Kingmaker, yes? No need for @Dmonweb to buy all 3 if one will fill his needs.
Ok, big, dumb, overly-complicated question for something I'm trying to do:
I have a C4 and Manta both in the same effects loop. I use the Manta as the primary tone in one song, but there are little "stabs" at certain points, and I use a patch on the C4 for that. I'm trying to figure out a way to quickly switch between the 2 different patches on the 2 different pedals, using, essentially, a momentary switch (programming a footswitch on the MC6 to send CC messages, depending on whether the switch is pressed or released). My original idea was to turn one pedal off, and the other pedal on, juggling between the two. That worked, somewhat, but the switching took longer than I had hoped. The actual application was successful, I just need it to be a nearly instantaneous switch.
Thinking last night, I thought a workaround might be to engage both pedals, but have the momentary switch control the mix of each one. So I'd engage the patch, Manta would be 100% wet, C4 0%, then the momentary switch would toggle those. Seems to work with the C4 without any problem (I set up MIDI CC# 99 to control the mix, with 0 being 100% Dry and 127 being 100% wet). I tried doing the same with the Manta, as the Neuro Hub manual shows that MIDI CC# 41 controls the Mix, but it doesn't seem to work. Do the CC messages to the Manta only work with an expression pedal? Am I missing something altogether? Am I insane for trying to get this to work? lol
