That first spot is for a song on a previous album. We lifted the bass line from some iPad app. The other two, not sure yet. Still goofing around with this stuff. But they are clearly usable sounds. So we'll see!

That's definitely my goal with the C4... Usable sounds. It's obvious from the community patches that there's a ton of cool stuff it can do, but a lot of those patches are also out there quite a bit. Since I play for a cover band and sub for two more, I'm looking for as authentic sounds as I can get. More patches to come!

You should upload that patch for your #1 spot, I'd definitely be interested to check it out. Sounds interesting! And which song is it for?

I revamped my sound for I Wanna Dance a bit with the C4. I have versions of most of my patches on the Future Impact as well, but I spent a good deal of time with the C4 getting it closer to the album, so I definitely need to revisit this patch on the FI and update it!

I'm 90% into "usable" sounds. The kind of sounds your bandmates expect a bass player to make. Although I'm not against a special effect or two. Maybe that EDM swell or something. Just a rabbit to pull out of a hat every now and then.

Anyone know what the use of the My Library tab is? It seems like you'd want to save a bunch of community-found stuff there and then swap them in and out of your pedal. But there isn't a "burn" icon to be found in that list. Is this just beta incompleteness or am I missing something here?

Just swipe left on a preset in your library when using the mobile app. Burn is one of the options. Got ya covered!!!

Oh, no worries. In the Desktop all you do is:
1) Go to the library tab.
2) Download the sound to the pedal
3) Click on the "device" button.
4) Save or save as.

Almost as fast as the BURN button!! :)
Still got ya covered!

This is another reason I will be adding more SA pedals in addition to the Collider and Orbital Modulator. Spectrum by Christmas...maybe put on my Santa list.

I just got my Soleman and installed the editor from the website. It says that the Soleman editor should include the latest firmware. When I opened the software and connected the device, it says the device currently has firmware version 1.07 but the download on the site said that the latest version is 1.08. When I pressed the update button in the editor, it prompted me to find the latest firmware but there were no files included with the software. Any idea where to find the version 1.08 firmware?

I got my Morningstar MC6 on Friday and got it all programmed up. My micro.ghost just arrived last night and I was able to wire up a new version of my board.

I have so much control over my C4 presets now and it rules!

I feel like your C4 may chase some of those other pedals off your board.

The C4 already replaced a bunch of other pedals I had on my board. Synth, Phaser, Filter, and a Bit Crusher.

I use the Octabvre a lot and in combination with other pedals. I use a lot of sounds on the fly, so I'd rather not program all the different combinations in the C4. Plus the Octabvre just sounds so good :)

As for the Xero and Subterranea, I've tried really hard and while I can get close, I can't get quite there with the C4.

I think it got close enough for me, but probably the failure to be there all the way amounts to the fuzz I always ran in front of the XD rather than the pedal itself, although the C4 can't quite hit the same extremes in sweep it doesn't have a fuzz that does what my Frazz does. Since nearly always run it in tandem with other effects (chorus or delays of various types) I can get away with the slight variance.

Though I still have my fuzz on board but haven't tried truly replicating it with Fuzz-C4. I do have a Aftershock on the way, which I've been sort of considering using instead of the on-board distortion suite on the C4, if that's not a fit I'll just Frazz it when I get a chance.

The DMC3-XL allows for 4 devices, the looper, the tap tempo, the programmable presets, Setlist mode, has a bit more connectivity (MIDI HOST as well as the USB) & the ability to add expression rollers. Check out the manual for the details. The 3rd button is excellent for switching between pedals and activating/bypassing, etc.
