Can you try a different TRRS cable with the spectrum? It’s possible the cable is at fault and causing the issues with recalling presets properly. Wouldn’t be unheard of that a bad TRRS cable was the culprit. Also, midi wise, are you just using the soleman and hub, or are there any other midi pedals between the 2 units?
Only using soleman and hub. Not sure where I placed the remaining TRRS cables from the hub bundle (if there were more than three), however i unplugged the spectrum and the c4 and put the c4's TRRS cable into the spectrum, unplugged the usb connection to the laptop and reconnected to refresh the device.
No spectrum settings are being saved when saving a hub scene. I get midi control via expression pedal, and hear changes as I adjust knobs WHILE setting up the spectrum within a scene, but when I click save, it just reverts back to the state of the pedal when I created a scene, again audibly, and visibily once I switch from one scene back to the one I was working on.
Here.. I've gone a step above for you. I've unplugged all three pedals from the hub, refreshed the hub in windows via disconnecting/reconnecting the USB. Added the spectrum manually, rather than creating a scene using the connected pedals since there were none... adjusted values and settings for the "imaginary spectrum" under a scene saved as "Test".
Just to be clear - I'm talking specifically hub scenes.
Switched from one scene, back to test, and my settings weren't saved.
Could you also do this within the neuro desktop editor and confirm whether or not you are seeing this behavior?
No hardware required, except for the hub.
To further rule out hardware, I went and did the same thing with the c4 while it was disconnected from the hub, and the settings remained as I had set them prior to pressing save. = working fine. (in fact it worked when I plugged the pedal back in and cycled to my "test" scene)
Problem seems to lie within firmware or neuro desktop editor, specific to the spectrum and the hub.
Any hub user with access to a windows 10 pc, regardless of whether they use the spectrum or not could test this one out as well, and let me know whether or not I'm alone. Just go to an empty scene, "Add new pedal" "Spectrum Intelligent Filter", adjust various knobs, click save, switch to another scene and then back and tell me if it kept your settings.
