Guys... my C4 is all but unusable to me
The Neuro Desktop App just always crashed when I try to use it with the C4. Same exact setup works flawlessly with the Aftershock. Whether I plug it in directly or via a hub, using different cables, nothing helps.

I don't know if this is a C4 issue or a Neuro Desktop issue. I have tried reinstalling it but I can't seem to get a clean new installation. When I re-install, I am still logged in... There must be some files left on my Mac but I have no idea where. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question... but do you have the phone connector cable plugged into Input 2 on the pedal (and the other end not plugged into your phone)? I had many of the same problems as you and it turned out to be because of this - the cable was sending rogue signals to the pedal and causing all sorts of weird issues. Unplugged it when not connected to my phone and the problems went away.

Speaking of purple pedals, I’m having a more productive day doing some Spectrum/MC8 programming. I’ve now got it so I have a single preset which allows me to route the loop contents into filter 1 and MC8 buttons allow me to scroll through all 12 envelope types and all 29 filter types. I’m going to add buttons for the 4 filter pitch-track options and the MIDI clock subdivisions, which I’ll also assign to expression pedal for dubstep-style mangling.

Basically means I can use a single preset to access a vast array of sounds on the fly.

anyone stumble over a good clavinet patch ? Think about some old Gary Wright stuff where he had clavinet an octave up over his synth bass... I found a killer FI patch for the synth bass part, thinking about taking that into input 2 and then dry out input 2 and merge in the mercury.

@odarellmc @El Spearo they’re published now, I hope you enjoy! Nobody Move is the Octave up plus filter, and Phunky Philter is what I used for the bass line

Not teasing, I was in bed when I replied and really couldn’t remember if I’d uploaded it. If I hadn’t, I was nowhere near the PC to do so. I actually submitted it as a candidate for a factory patch but it didn’t make the cut, probably because it sounds better played via a keyboard than it does on bass. I’ll share later.

well except for when I say thanks for some great patches! That clavinet sound an octave up and slightly gritty is probably on the money for what I imagine. Tough to tell up from down on the Gary Wright stuff. Kinda over the top with reverb and delay... but he did get some hits so what do I know

I might have a blast at using the onboard FX on that to see what I can do. I think I did a version using the second parallel (bandpass) filter but not sure how good that was. Better will be to use the EQ section as a series bandpass filter and some drive; I’ll play around with the order too. It’s actially a single oscillator patch if I remember correctly so in theory I could copy the oscillator settings to get it working chordally too, though in order to keep the (single) filter working optimally, it’d be better to use close-position voicings.
Anyway, sorry, that’s off-topic. I’ll post in the FI thread instead.

Hey all, a question on hub scenes. I have a number of different scenes with various pedals and settings. Currently have AS, Gemini, Manta, and C4. Is there an easy way to take/copy the Gemini settings, for example, from one scene and apply them to the Gemini in another scene? Can't seem to find an easy way to "cut and paste" settings from one scene to another without manually recreating each sound. Seems like there should be a way to do it, I'm just not seeing it. Thanks!

If not using a PC then navigate to the scene you want to copy. Press “copy” on the Hub, send the PC message of the location you want to copy to then press copy again, then save. This will have duplicated the entire scene. Then change the settings you want to change on the pedals other than the Gemini and hit save again.

If using a computer, load the scene, make the alterations to the non-Gemini pedals and then save the scene with a new name to a new hub slot.
