It's really useful for understanding the Aftershock's desktop editor.
The list of distortion models and what they are based on is really useful to know. The Lunar / Gemini and Mercury's desktop editor controls should be very similar. If I'd seen this a few months ago, it would have saved me a fair bit of time and experimentation.

Not necessarily. Given that the hub only responds to PCs and the pedals don’t, it’s fine to set Hub’s channel to be the same as one of the connected pedals. My Hub and C4 are on channel 2, every other device has its own channel.
Disaster Area suggested just putting the Hub and the DMC Micro on the same midi channel, and let the Hub do the rest.
We can at least agree that pedals that react to both PCs and CCs should normally go on their own channel though, right?

Yes. (Though I guess there could be cases where you might want two on the same channel, eg when running a duplicate pair of the same pedal or something. I’ve thought about running two C4s to be able to get four distinct notes in the harmoniser and four instances of a given waveform.)
My Hub's been on Ch 1 for about 3 years! My Aftershock was also on the same Ch, once upon a time, that was the only way it would work. Thankfully things have moved on and progressed! I've now got 11 midi devices attached, which leaves 5 channel left.
I haven’t even started in with the hubs and midi controllers, just some loaded presets, knob twiddling and playing around.
Speaking of midi...my FaderFox PC4 is here and on my board. Used mostly to control addional parameters on my Source Audio pedals. Having a dedicated output level on my Spectrum, C4 and Lunar for instance...very sweet indeed. It means I can get my output levels right when stacking effects.
No longer is there room for carefully placed coffee any more

$300 and that size seems a lot to pay for a few volume knobs. I have to believe you’re using it for other features as well.
I got the Pro FX, but kinda wish I had got the Classic. I missed that incline. But I had gotten it on the Sweetwater Deal zone thing for like $50 off for being a "Demo" but for the life of me, I couldn't find where it was even touched. It turned out way too big, so I put it away and am now building up the Jr. MAX instead. This was when I decided to get into the SA pedals too, so they eliminate about 60% of what had been using. So I can easily downsize without much issues.
I have the Cioks DC7 too. Hands down the best power supply I have even owned and I have/do owned a ton of them through the years. It will power them power hungry pedals too. It will power the TC Plethora X5 and its 600ms needing self.
Here in the Uk it's a lot cheaper comparatively, about £180ish delivered.
Because my entire board is midi enabled, it means that I can assign a knob to any parameter that I find on any device editor...in real time. I have had different patches on the PC4 to assign different functions. So I could have an H9, a Hog2, a C4 dedicated panel. I could have a dedicated EQ2 panel that has 10 knobs mapped to the sliders and a further to modify the Q's or frequencies. It's THAT powerful. It's a pity it hasn't got any CC assignable push buttons, that would make it even more powerful. I was weighing up the EC4 vs the PC4. The EC4 has encoders, I went for the one with more knobs
It's certainly not a device for everyone.
How's the pots working when you power up the board ?
Do you have to turn the pot to "catch" the parameter and adjust from there or does the pedal "jump" to the new setting when you turn a pot ?
I guess it works the same with the EC3.

You can assign the PC4 to do either. I'm still working out how I'm going to use it. So far it's been pretty useful, although sourcing 3.5 TRS B to Midi 5 pin cables is a bit of head ache, and I'll need to work out how I can add 5v USB power to my board.
