I like how he has the atlas in front of the muff in the demo. I usually have my diamond comp after my muff, but I'm going to try it this way. Also, he's a great bass player. I've seen him with the North Mississippi Allstars and was very impressed.

So...are the HPF and LPF normalled in the (I think it's called...) the detector circuit? Is there an internal side chain, IOW? Or do they only affect a signal patched in from outside the box?

I would think the HPF/LPF will apply to whatever your sidechain source is (normally your main audible signal)

As the eq2 already has 5 pin connections, i’d rather use that but it shouldn’t really have an effect on noise.
Do all pedals and hub get isolated power?

yep. Everything is powered by a Strymon Zuma and an Ojai

Whelp...now I need to talk to Sweetwater about a Bass Ultrawave and an Atlas. Source Audio had pretty much taken over the top tier of my home built pedal board (mainly to allow easy access to the cable ports on the top of the pedals) and now is vying dominance in the middle tier (where access is more limited...unless I build out a USB patch bay panel and keep the cords attached). Thanks again, Source Audio. I wholeheartedly support your bid for board domination.

The Ultrawave was also a bit slow getting here, I had to order mine from the US.

Please do not order from the USA! It is a nightmare for us to support repairs and it makes our European partners very cranky. The USA dealers will not support after purchase. That is not good for anyone. Thanks!

When it’s cheaper and faster to order from the US, I don’t mind giving up product support. We’ll see how quickly the Atlas becomes available here, and for what price. I saved about £50 when I got my Ultrawave, even after shipping and import taxes.

A USB hub works well and there are many designs to choose from, you WILL want to keep them connected for quick connectivity - trust me.

I have both SA and Zoom pedals connected to a USB hub on my board and my laptop sorts them out no problem.

I run two hubs for the current batch of eight SA pedals. Two more pedals maxes out my hubs. Mainly, I was addressing being able to have ease of access to the mini USB port. The pedals are all always connected to the hubs via the 1/8" TRRS cables. When I designed the board, I was living in a pre-SA world and only had two pedals that ran MIDI or data access ports (Beatbuddy's SSD and USB and Pigtronix Infinity).

I ran into a "problem" where the animation for the Ultrawave Compressor/Expander graph wasn't working on the newest version of Neuro Desktop (0.8.55).
But I remembered my training, and restarted my computer. And now it's working.
So if you update your client and run into that, restart your computer!

That’s the penultimate firmware version. The one included with the latest desktop editor is newer (1.21).

The compatibility with direct usb on mobile means that now when i plug the pedal to a phone, the phone reads whats on the pedal? Like on the neuro computer app?
