Much appreciated. Minor nuisances aside, it's still a great pedal. I am curious to double-back and check the behavior on my Ultrawave, but it's less of a concern there seeing that it's whole purpose is to create noise (cool noise).

Gibs definitely knows the correct words for what I’m doing! Whether PC or CC,
I’m changing the internal presets of my c4 and ultrawave with my dmc.micro PRO, and I only turn my Aftershock on and off.

Yes! One can use CC to select presets. Very important point.

Okay, I'm starting to catch up now. So the Hub does pass CC messages, and I can use CC 104 with the value of the preset I'm wanting to switch to. Any tips on how I can learn about sending CC messages from the DMC Micro? Can they be part of a DMC Micro preset? I don't have the "pro" version, if that matters, and I've been using the web editor to configure it. So far I've only used it to build presets that send PC messages to the Hub itself, to recall saved scenes.

The C4 driver on the dmc uses CCs messages rather than PC, I made a video on how this can be advantageous in a neuro hub setup:

I just got done watching a video of someone using bluetooth to control their source audio pedals running through input 2 of each pedal.

I just tried this out and had partial success. If anyone is interested in the bluetooth receiver setup, my notes are here.

Alright sorcerers, I need a little help... Just got the Neuro Hub and my C4, Aftershock, and Atlas are all connected. I can navigate through each pedal's presets with the updated DMC Micro firmware no problem, that i was able to get set up.


Here's my issue - when I scroll either the Atlas or the C4, the pedal is "engaged" once I start scrolling. How do turn the pedals into the OFF position so they don't engage while scrolling? I'm fine with hitting the pedal's footswitch to have it turn on or off - or use the DMC if it does that as well. I just need to be able to scroll without the pedal being in the ON position. Any thoughts?

I assume you are using "Device" mode on the DMC? If so, using the DMC disengage method (I believe holding one of the 2 buttons down) should make it so it automatically disengages when you scroll to each next preset. When you either engage or disengage with the DMC you should see a little dot on the screen appear or disappear to show whether engage or disengage is the default scrolling option. When using "Preset Mode" on the DMC you can choose either bypass state for each DMC preset for each pedal.
There is also an option for preset recall state in the Neuro editor, but I can't recall how the DMC is affected by that option (I no longer use a DMC controller)

Gotcha! That pointed me in the right direction.

I found the "bypass" section on the DMC editor. I didn't look at the "preset editor" after I set up the unit on the main editor page. Thanks!

Nice- I never knew about the DMC editor when I had a DMC-8 (maybe it wasn't a thing yet) and just made all my presets on the DMC. Is it still working as expected when scrolling in Device Mode (I assumed you were in Device mode since you mentioned scrolling through pedal presets)? it appears that the Disengage/Engage you are looking at is within individual DMC presets in the Preset Mode (or maybe you were using Preset mode all along?)

Rejoing the fold ... Added a Spectrum. Was my fave of the SA universe and so it has appeared back on my board. Roger just grimmaced and Jesse probably just fainted ;-) Not to worry boys, I'm not pushing the envelope with this one.

Yeah so it sounds like you are using "Device Mode" for each pedal to scroll through its internal presets. If you want to scroll through presets in that mode with a default "engage" or "disengage" message sent on each scroll I believe you have to do it the way I mentioned in my first reply (unless using the Hub somehow changes this functionality)- holding down the left button of the DMC (I assume), which will change the default bypass mode (and you should see a dot on the DMC screen go away). He actually goes through this around 8:30 on the above video.

"Preset Mode" on the DMC means creating presets within the DMC where you can send messages to all the pedals connected at once, with both the internal preset for each pedal you want and the bypass state of each pedal- maybe when using the Hub it makes more sense to use the Hub for this purpose though?
