Nice work @rsmith601 and team, the new adaptor will be an excellent solution. Out of curiosity: is use of the bundled mini TRS to 5 pin socket mandatory for DIN connections on the MIDI In socket, or could it be replaced with a (correctly wired) mini TRS to 5 pin plug cable?

This is great news. I'm thinking of using a One Series Midi Adapter with my Lunar. Having the ability to to swap between the 6 internal presets via Midi Program Change will really add benefits to my live use of my Lunar.
I'm thinking that the users of the Aftershock would get a similar benefit. I can foresee Midi Solutions selling a number of extra midi Thru boxes this month too.

Our TRS MIDI is per the MIDI spec (like Boss). That is our definition of correctly wired. The other stuff is not correctly wired.

Both I suppose. The UI isn't all that bad, it's functional albeit dated. Some dropdowns and scrolling could be better, at least on Mac. UX I would say would be more like saving and swapping presets around without having to download or save to an empty slot, searching the community, favoriting and having a way to filter on favorites, being able to rename but somehow retain which community preset it came from so you can restore to "default". Maybe some helper popups on what different dials do (so many choices its easy to get lost), maybe some arrows the light up the signal path when you toggle on/off envelope or distortion engines.

It's a great tool, but a steep learning curve.

If you already have Hub(s), as long as you don't hate them I wouldn't think you need to replace them with individual adaptors, however, you COULD with an adaptor, drop down from 2 Hubs to 1 if my math is right. If real estate becomes a factor for you.

I've already got the 2 hubs, have the real estate and have them configured. I appreciate the answer. It seemed to me that the approach I had taken covered me for what I wanted to do, but I like to be aware of new things as the come down pike.

I would say this product is for people who have only one or 2 SA pedals and dont want to delve into the Hub. The Hub can do so much (scenes, expression control, etc.) I think its the best way to go if you are down with it.

I have a couple of questions about the new midi adapter. I'm currently using a neuro hub for two SA pedals but considering the adapter.

Will it allow me to use PC messages to change patches on my C4 and Ultrawave without changing the bypass status?

Can you use the midi through into a second SA pedal or do you need another adapter for that?
