We have data on this that I have not looked at recently, so I hesitate to respond without that context. My only point is this limitation is just with the Ultrawave, not any other pedal in our lineup. When we update the Hub, we will do much more than this.

FWIW for both those pedals I use both the Neuro link via Neuro Hub and a USB link through a USB hub, in fact I have all my SA and Zoom pedals set up this way. When creating a scene I edit each pedal USB direct and then save on the Neuro Hub, I only use one USB from the pedal board to my laptop that I use for editing as Neuro Hub is connected to the USB Hub. It is an inexpensive ACER that I use primarily for that purpose.

It sounds like you have a great workflow - can you explain how you are doing this? On my board, I have a DMC Micro Pro, Neuro Hub, five SA pedals and the DMC, Neuro Hub and the five pedals are USB connected to a usb hub and then to a windows PC. Also, the five pedals are TRRS connected to the Neuro Hub and the DMC is midi connected to the Neuro Hub.

My goal is to have one scene per song in the setlist and use the DMC Micro Pro to step through the list, hoping to learn how others are doing this.

I have a question regarding the Aftershock. I'm running my OC-3 in front of it like I do with all of my gain pedals, and when I cut the dry signal out, the Aftershock becomes very glitchy. It doesn't have any distorted signal coming through on the initial attack, and if I let it sustain, the lighter gain settings come through eventually, but the fuzz is gone. When the dry signal on the OC-3 is up, it's fine.

Is this common? Is there a parameter in the Aftershock I need to adjust to compensate for the lack of dry signal from the OC-3? Thanks.

We are essentially doing the same thing although I am not currently using a for switch as my board is used mostly for recording. if and when I need to gig the board I will either use the laptop or find a footswitch to use.

This is essentially how I have my board setup as well. Only additional is I have an Android tablet running bandhelper I've setup to send a mid preset for each song in my setlist to the dmc micro, which then controls the neuro hub scene changes. I could do this without the dmc.micro, but it gives me a visual of the preset name, and also acts as a backup if my tablet dies, I can still use the footswitches.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm still hoping to understand how your are setting up your scenes:

1. From the USB connection to the Neuro Hub, which is TRRS'd to each pedal: Are you locating, applying and tweaking presets from the factor, community, or your cloud library and then saving the scene?

2. From the USB connections to each pedal: Are you selecting from the pedal and/or locating, applying and tweaking presets from the factory, community, or your cloud library and then saving the scene the the "save scene" button the the Neuro Hub, hoping this will save it to the correct preset?

3. Are you doing something else or am I missing something in the above?

Yes through the mini B USB port. And connecting the DMC.micro Pro MIDI Out 5-pin DIN connector to the Neuro Hub MIDI IN 5-pin DIN connector. There may be other ways to do it but that is what I'm doing.

I put the Neuro Hub on channel 1, and the three pedals on channels 2, 3 and 4. But Set-list is just sending the scene number on channel 1. For scene development I have the Neuro Hub and the three pedals connected to a USB Hub via their USB connectors and then use a laptop to make changes. I use the DMC foot switches to go to the Neuro Hub scene that I want to make/change. After making the changes to the pedals via the laptop I then press the Neuro Hub Save button for 2 seconds to record the pedal details.

Everything is built onto a pedalboard now and has been working consistently. The rest of this week will be the true test. I'll be using it for the 3 rehearsals with 3 different bands followed by the Friday night gig. Wish me luck! Lol.

If you go USB...I had trouble finding a USB hub that would work with my tablet pc, but this one has just enough ports for the pedals, Neuro Hub and DMC micro and it runs without power.

Remember if you connect to the hub you're only addressing the scenes. You'll have to connect to the pedal to make changes to those pedals.

You might find that your annual supporting membership has expired and you have gravitated back to pleb mode....ie..the world and his mate's robots are now marketting to you. This happened to me last year when I changed my bank card details.

…do here I go:

I plugged the hub, UW and C4 with the provided usb cables into a usb hub. Hub to the mac for control with the neuro desktop app.
everything shows up in the app. But I do have issues.
when I save a new preset it doesn’t always ‘take’.
as soon as I switch up and down with the soleman the new preset is gone.
it does store correctly if I tweak a preset on the desktop app and save by pressing the button on the hub.
But that way I don’t get to choose a name for the preset. (Or have to do that manualy on the soleman)

Is it correct I have to first save a setting for the UW as a preset before I can use it in a scene on the hub?

also the scene numbers on the soleman and on the hub dont match. 0 on the soleman is 1 on the hub. This is a minor thing but….

also the soleman does not alway switch to the next scene. When I go back and forth, mostly it wel switch the second time. Could this be interference between the midi cables and the usb cables in the usb hub?
I allready unplugged the usb cable from the soleman. With that plugged in, switching went wrong more times than not.

I think I watched all videos I could find on youtube, but can not get it to work correctly. I assume it’s something to do with how I connected everything.

Maybe you can help me trouble shoot?!..

Update.
Usb cable directly from hub to computer without usb cables to the pedals or soleman does not improve the situation.
Scenes from the hub to the neuro desktop editer do not syncronize. The other way round does work. But as written in the previous post I have to save those scenes on the hub itself. Saving the scenes on the editor does not work most of the time.

Which editor are you referring to. It's simple, if you connect to the hub your making adjustments to the scene. To do anything to presets you have to connect to the pedal either directly or thru a compatible USB hub.

I understand that if I connect the neuro hub direct to the computer/neuro desktop editor I cannot change/save pedal presets.
My problem is, the scenes I have on the hub don’t come up on the desktop app and the scenes I make with the desktop app most of the time don’t safe to the hub.
They do save if I press the button on the hub to save the scene I just made with the desktop app.
Hope I explained it a little bit better. (english is not my native language)
