I don’t want to directly link, but I googled for “Source Audio bass preamp” and was able to find it.

I dont see anything either. I did, however, come across a post on Basschat that pointed out the wording from SA’s IG post, namely “Direct from the Source,” implying that it’s probably some sort of pre/DI.

The teaser photo was actually a bigger hint than I imagined. The only other SA pedal with a knob like that was the ZIO.

It’s a great looking pedal, especially in that colour. If I didn’t already have an Element I’d be preordering for sure. I hope there’s a really good response to it.

The Bass Zio looks to be a refreshing and original addition to a crowded bass di/pre pedal market! The headphone amp is a smart feature and the tone controls are a little different for a change!

Seems weird to have the DI on the front end of the pedal board. This seems more of a recording tool than a live one when regarding the DI. That said, I’ll be getting one. Looking forward to seeing how it works in my setup.

It is quite possible that this pedal uses Out 2 to In 2 as an external send/return loop. And possibly allows options for positioning the loop pre/post fx, and positioning the DI at different points as well.

Yes. If there's preamp and IR in the same pedal, FX loop please...

Then again, it seems like even a small, MIDI-capable IR loader is not a common thing. I couldn't find one last time I looked. Maybe they'll release something like that as a back-end counterpart to the ZIO. I would be very happy with that as well.
