I have a C4 and I bought an UltraWave Bass this week on a whim (good used price got me).
How should I use them together, or should I? Do they jive well together or will the UltraWave pair better with other effects?
Is "Preset Extension Mode" only accessible when using the Neuro app? I'd like to access four more settings on the EQ2 just using the pedal, is that possible?
I've read the manual (it's mentioned in the EQ2 Manual on p.19 bit not explained) and looked at a few videos and can't find the answer.
Woah, how did I miss that? That’s a nice hidden feature.
Just for clarity, this is preset extension mode:Is "Preset Extension Mode" only accessible when using the Neuro app? I'd like to access four more settings on the EQ2 just using the pedal, is that possible?

Thanks @fourstringdrums and @rsmith601, now I get it. I can access presets 1-4 using the footswitch, but to access presets 5-8 I have to hold down "Select" and turn the "Encoder" knob.
Is it possible to access presets 5-8 using just the footswitch? How?
If I have to enable this in the Neuro app, how do I do that?
Do I have to have a Neuro Hub to do that at my feet (no hands)?
If you are in extended preset mode you can scroll through all 8 presets just like you can if you are only using 4 presets. The only time that things get tricky is when using more than 8.Thanks @fourstringdrums and @rsmith601, now I get it. You have to enable preset extension in the app, then the first 8 are accessible via the pedal itself.Right, thanks. And it's not accessible through the footswitch?
YES, you can us the footswitch for either 1-4 or 1-8. Page 18 in the user guide:Right, thanks. And it's not accessible through the footswitch?
3. To access further presets (9–128), press the SELECT button while holding the ENCODER KNOB.
1) Engage the pedal, the main green light is on"...while holding the ENCODER KNOB" ?
This wording is a little ambiguous. "Holding" as in pressing the encoder knob's button? Or just press select while turning the encoder?
I had to check the user guide to remember the details. I think I will follow your thread too! Thanks again @rsmith601, @fourstringdrums and @Gibs210. I followed the directions from the manual that you provided and it worked!
It's remarkable to have @rsmith601 responding to user questions, ON A SUNDAY MORNING, nonetheless! Another reason to love SA.
I am new to SA, and digital signal processing. After messing about with the three SA pedals I have, and from the helpful responses I get in this thread, I am inspired to start a thread titled "Source Audio for Dummies: How a Baby Boomer who can barely use Garage Band learned to love SA products".![]()
