That and the “how does midi work with these random selection of components” questions….There is usually more talk about the actual pedals and their uses in this thread. However, since the release of the Artifakt and the Neuro 3 practically at the same time, a lot have been commenting on the bugs.
You guys are amazing! What a team! Thank you!Now that we are about 18 hours into the release of Neuro 3.017, its looking really good. Jesse has a couple of small items before going full pubic, but confidence is building. @Annette older Mac support is in there. If anyone want to give it a try, send me a PM with your email.
i'm just waiting until everything is resolved before with neuro 3 until i update it. i have a lot of SA pedals and would prefer to update them once.
I'm getting virus messages on 3.0.18 on my laptop.3.018 is going public tomorrow. 3.017 has been great. Only some small updates to 18. There is new Artifakt firmware in 3.018
You need to click on the “…” and then click on “keep”I'm getting virus messages on 3.0.18 on my laptop.
I tried downloading the desktop app on my phone and it got flagged as forbidden there as well.
You need to put it in bootloader and reload the firmware. Hold the footswitch and control input while connecting it to power. Then manually update the firmware with the file already on your computer in the source audio directory.I used 3.0.10 recently to upload new sounds and rearange what i had loaded and now i am getting no sound from my C4.
The app sees it.
I did a factory reset, i tried to upgrade the firmware, but it is latest.
I get sound when C4 disenaged, but nothing when i engage the footswtich.
I hope i didnt brick my pedal!
Gonna try the old editor and see what happens.
Edit: desktop V2 made no difference. The app sees it and settings change in the app when i manipulate the knobs on the pedal, but no output sound when disenaged.
I opened a support ticket
thanks! will try that this afternoon. has this been discussed alread? i only read back a few pages. You need to click on the “…” and then click on “keep”

I use Chrome to get around Edge's issues with Neuro. FYIi figured out the bootloader! had to DL the old version of neuro.. found the instructions on another thread.
Thanks for that! was fairly stressful in rehearsal yesterday!
FYI i also got the option to "keep" the new neuro version in MS Edge but after hitting keep, MS defender still deleted it.
I had to make an exclusion in defender to not scan my downloads folder. After that i was able to download and instal 3.0.18
Obviously if you do this, remove the exclusion afterwards
now the question is can i freely use 3.0.18 without killing my pedal again? should i wai? can i load an old backup or do i have to redo everything?
thanks for the help!
I had issues with both, but i got it!I use Chrome to get around Edge's issues with Neuro. FYI
I started a topic for the Artifakt here, hopefully one Neuro is sorted out and more folks get one there will be more discussion. There is usually more talk about the actual pedals and their uses in this thread. However, since the release of the Artifakt and the Neuro 3 practically at the same time, a lot have been commenting on the bugs. And because @rsmith601 actually sees and responds so quickly to these queries, there is going to be a lot of that type of commenting. This is a great place to post that stuff because of that reason. Plus a lot of guys have knowledge and exp here. Half the time its something simple. Well, maybe not half the time
I get what you're saying. And you could start another thread. But I bet there will be a number of people that will refer you back to this thread. The nature of TB I guess.
I had to add an exclusion in windows defender for my downloads folder to be able to keep it.Well shucks, @rsmith601 and @Gibs210 I appreciate all your struggle and diligence but regretfully must report No joy on downloading Neuro 3_0_18 today. Tried 5 times on a current version of Win 10 and Chrome, got a Virus Detected message each time. I restarted my PC and had nothing running but Chrome for the last download and still rejected. I had also turned off 'safe Browsing" on the final attempt.

Please advise. I love my 40" screen.
Probably the msi was not signed properly., so that is why it is being flagged. That's a beta - maybe even alpha release though, so maybe just wait for the official release. You can force the download, but even so the install may not go properly. I also experienced the download issue and got around it but I have Visual Studio setup and I can force the OS to install it but I recommend against it.Well shucks, @rsmith601 and @Gibs210 I appreciate all your struggle and diligence but regretfully must report No joy on downloading Neuro 3_0_18 today.
