I will. For sure. I'm just stuck in a hospital waiting room with no headphones right now.
Its funny, I have always owned large over-ear headphones for being on planes and such. Because of SoundCheck, I now added high quality earbuds to the equation. Very handy!
 
I own a couple pairs of good iems, I just ran out of the house without grabbing some since I thought it was gonna be an in and out quickly for a scheduled blood draw.

Now I'm at work with my Akg k712s but too busy to play around. :(

Thanks for all the advice on using the Ladder filter. I think I am getting the hang of it.

Just published my first preset - a quacky filter with some distortion. It's named "Bass Ladder TP" if you want to check it out.
It took me only 30 seconds to check out your new preset with a couple of different bass clips. Smooth Bass and Flatwound Bass clips are the best ones. Wurly Keys and Funk Drums are out there!! Excellent work.

Would love to see a dual-channel SA One series modulation pedal in the future which allowed any 2 of the Gemini/Mercury/Lunar models to be loaded, perhaps like the way Collider does so that the order can be determined. Even cooler if it were knobby like Collider and had per-preset knob mappings for both the A and B sides. (I do know however that the larger format pedals are costlier/riskier.)
Yep. A Lunar/Gemini/Mercury revision in this format would be awesome. You'd be able to have access to all the stuff that currently requires the editor to get to.

For some reason, I can't get either of my USB midi compatible SA pedals (UW Bass, Spectrum) to respond to midi messages passed through the usb midi through on my HX One.

The messages are definitely being sent, if I connect the HX One to my Mac, I see them in MIDI Monitor.

It's not the end of the world since my midi controller (MVAVE Chocolate Plus) also has a USB host port, and they respond to that, but I'm curious why it's not working via the midi through on the HX One. If I could get it to work, it would mean I could use my controller wirelessly, which would be a nice feature.
 
Those of you with an artifakt on your bass board… what kind of thing are you using it for (apart from the killer filter)?

Besides the ladder filter, I haven't found much that is super effective or useful for bass so far. Playing around with the vinyl for a bass intro to a song, and it's alright, but most of these effects shine more on guitar parts.

It will likely not make onto a bass board as all too often find a use on my production duties, but I do occasionally use it on bass parts especially to get an uber vintage vibe or some wildly crunched up part.

I use it for a funky filter and flanger recently when i gig. It has a great flanger sound that can keep the low end of the bass too (same with any of its tape modulation effects) I also like to use the oscillate feature on one tune where we just make crazy sounds on one part of the song. That is the second switch on the flanger patch i use.

It is great for warm, slight OD sounds and wild bit crush/distortion sounds too.

Artifakt is capable of lots of wierd and wonderful sounds. Feel like i've only really scratched the surface of it and need to spend a lot more time with it.

Unlike the mvave HX one is not a USB host. When you plug it into your Mac the Mac is acting as the usb host

I loved the chorus flange time based section of the device - but toying if that alone is worth adding it to my board

I'm not using it as a host: I have a Bluetooth midi dongle that is connected to an SA 168 attached to SA pedal #1, and the midi through on that runs into the midi 5 pin input on the HX One. I'm trying to use the midi through from that.

It just so happens that the Chocolate plus also has a USB midi host and both work simultaneously.

ETA: the Mac was only monitoring in this scenario: the midi messages were still all being sent via the Chocolate Plus (or regular Chocolate, I have both).

I am not a midi expert - but you've just described

Bluetooth -> SA168 -> Pedal
SA168 -> HX one

Try

Bluetooth -> HX one -> SA168 -> pedal
