Source Audio Spectrum Inteligent Filter!!!

Try pressing the back button then switch the toggle while the little light is blinking. The larger light should now stay red. You’re now in the alternate presets.and can switch between all the alternate presets as well as still hit the back button to adjust alternate knob settings.
It sounds confusing but do it a few times and it becomes intuitive.
Hi Phin. I'm about to try out your recommendations. So, not only do we have the same G&L bass, we both love Solidgold pedals. I just started to seriously play after a long lay-off and am starting my first pedal board, I used onboard effects back in the day - I did have a multi-effects pedal board I used in the nineties. Since this is new to me I've been watching and learning from the pedal forum. I've seen your name on there and maybe other forums and remember learning some useful information from your posts. I'm planning on replacing my Imperial fuzz with the Spectrum. Originally I wanted an octave pedal and could not decide what to get. I was just about to buy a MXR BOD after much deliberation but I kept seeing posts about Source Audio's Spectrum and C4. I had been ignoring them because I already had too many choices, but after watching YT videos I was sold. I'm going to try the pedal order you suggested. My tuner is an Onstage mini tuner - true bypass. I'm going to work with the Spectrum using the power supply they sent rather than change the pedal order right now. I'll let you know how it all goes. Patrick.

Sweet, looks like we have more in common than you stated. Back from a long break with bands , but many before the break.
IMO keep the imperial. Ditch the octave. Save a one as a preset. Spectrum can do that very well. Search OC-2 on the app. Then tweak to liking. Spectrum is a pedal
Killer for filters and octavers.

DM me for any more Qs.

Actually I'm planning on replacing the SG Funklite with the Spectrum not the Imperial fuzz as I mentioned before. I dig that fuzz too although it tends to overpower my other pedals. I have it after the dirt and then the Funklite after that. I've been playing with the a bank and getting more out of it than yesterday by finetuning more. Now it's time for the b bank. As you can tell I have become obsessed with pedals. GAS hit me hard.

That is a powerful fuzz. But sounds so great. I could play solo with that all night but too aggressive for playing with the bands currently playing with. Blues, funk, disco, rock covers. But I love it.
I get the GAS. I’ve gone down the filter, OD and compressor rabbit wholes. I’ve been keeping a journal of all the pedals I’ve tried and moved on. But like what I’ve settled with. The Aftershock is a great addition.
Now GASsing over a G&L L-2000. Saving my pennies.

Hi everyone. About to pull the trigger on a Spectrum. I'd appreciate it if someone could clarify whether I'd need to buy Neuro Hub to get a DMC micro to scroll between presets?

I imagine there's no way of connecting a simple dual footswitch to scroll up and down through presets on the Spectrum? Thanks.

With a DMC Micro you won't need a Hub and can control directly using either USB or the 1/4" control port, but DMC are basically the only "all in one box" hub+controller solutions for the C4 and Spectrum as far as I'm aware (and the Micro is the easiest way to get your 2-button scrolling box)

It just arrived and I spent about an hour putting it to the test before I adhere it to the Pedalboard.

This thing is dripping with Grease!!! I absolutely love it. Well done SA!!!

And here it is on the board. Don’t he fooled. These three pedals cover a lot of territory.

I have one on the way. It's been recommended to me so many times and I fought it..

Question though. Does the ALT button still only stay on for 5 seconds after the last knob turn or did a software update change it? I read a post from March of last year I thought from SA here that said they'd look into it.

It shuts off after 5 seconds of knob inactivity. If you keep moving knobs it stays on.

New owner here, haven't really played with effects for years. Also back into playing gigs after a LONG hiatus.. I needed an envelop filter for a covers band. Don't know how but found the Spectrum as I saw a demo showing its octave capabilities which would be a bouns. I knew you can hook it up with your computer and phone but in all honesty didn't really know what that meant. Got the spectrum, first 2 presets.. twiddling the knobs, its exactly what I need cool. Hook up the mac, MY GOSH...!! After a little while worked out was going on with the all the presets, the web library, saving patches etc... You could say I'm a fan!!

This this is my first "Is there anything for this... " type post. My covers band is going to cover The Weekends "Blinding Lights", definitely a cool 80's synth driven song. I'm not looking for an exact sound as the huge bass synth part but just something that would fit in OK. I also realize I don't have the C4 :). I was thinking Octave (to get the low b string notes as I play a 4), fuzz and a little bit of resonance filter. Anyways Ive already found some community patches that I will try during rehearsal, Chase Synth and I also like Simpler Octave and I added some Octave fuzz to that.

Has anyone come across anything that might be suitable :). The sound in intro and chorus (as linked in the video) has an edgier sound which is what Im looking for.

If not, no worries!! I will continue going through the online community seeing what sparks my interest. Glad to be part of the family!!

I can see myself in the future, learning about different filters etc, and creating my own stuff from what I hear but I dont have those skills yet.
