That's pretty much what the ATE is meant to do. Plus you get a killer Klon style buffer, an amazing boost and the fifth gear circuit should you ever need it.

I do love the Ictineo and the Designer Sub circuit has become an always on circuit for me.

I am not a Modulation guy at all but I picked up a purple Utility Knife at the PCDH19 auction. Wow is all I can say. Super easy to dial in across all 4 settings - so much so that you can flip between chorus and phaser with the same settings and still come up with a useable sound. I was admittedly a little worried about the lack of a clean blend but it hasn't been an issue - the pedal keeps the low end tight and present; the fundamental is pretty clean.

I got a Broughton Modulation Station at the same time for Breeder Secret Santa and it is a very different pedal - much less traditional with a few ways to dial in a clean low end. The two pedals together are conspiring to make me a Modulation guy.

I suspected you can't save your own settings for each effect. Considering it's a digital pedal, It would be a good upgrade.

You can't but I was surprised at how good each setting sounds at just about all knob positions. Now of course you can't dial in a fast chorus and a slow trem but whatever. I am not enough of a Modulation guy to need that many settings for each song or set. I am excited to gig with it for sure.
