Spalted maple top 6 string explorer "Horus" bass (Warning many pictures!)

Well I think it's time to show more of my bass. I hide my precioussss for a long time but here we go:

The story began when I wanted a 6 string explorer bass. And this was the result:

Yes it is a 6 string bass

Well, actually the project began as a 7 string Explorer to be tuned BEADGbe (like a 7 string electric gxxtar tuned one octave lower) and/or F#BEADGC.
But as SIT guys that Jauquo suggested me to contact, did stop to reply me after a few e-mail (you can guess how much I love their customer service, now) and I found that it would always be a problem to find strings for that baby, I decided to go with 6 string that local shops offer.

And I admire spalted maple. As it would be a custom bass, I wanted to have a spalted maple top. So this one features a "one piece" spalted maple top.... I waited long time on ebay to find a piece that big and that thick. And hopefully it didn't cost me an arm and a leg as offered by some others ..cough... cough...

The body wings are alder.
I also love carved top and back:

The body gets thicker at the center and thinner at the edges. Both horizontally and vertically. And keep in mind, it was built without CNC or other automated tools.

This is a neck-through bass.
The neck is made of 5 pcs. maple and wenge. The neck heel is very comfortable.

More to come...

Your grammar sucks, but that is a very beautiful bass.
Dude, the guy is from Istanbul! English is most likely not his first language. Sheesh, give him a break. :)

Anyway, GREAT looking bass!!!!

What are the controls? vol, blend, mid, and stacked treble/bass?

Looks like SD Basslines pickups. SD preamp too?
