Would you pay 770.00 for a black NS-2A ???
BIN ...... 650.00
Shipping 120.00 :eyebrow:

I asked about the excessive shipping charge. His response is....

"About shipping costs:
My friend who owns a music store recommends this... if the shipper packages the item, they cannot refuse a claim if the it arrives damaged. A small price to pay to ensure that the instrument gets to you safely.

Thats a good way to not sell a bass..... Lol

Hey guys, I have a quick question:
Do tthe USA bolt-ons have a curved body? I ask because in the pictures I've seen, I've noticed a tummy cut and was wondering if that was there to replace the curve we like so much.
Also, does anyone know if the frets up high are more accessible on the bolt on? I know my Rebop's higher frets are easier to reach than my Euro's.

Thanks anyways!

This is a 2000 NS-2J. The cutaway comes in at the 23rd fret.
It has the same contoured body as the NS-2.
The flat bodies have the gut cut.

As you can see here... the Ian Hill's cut comes in at the 21st fret...

Thanks a lot, that's a really good visual.
So is there an option with the USA bolt-ons to get either a curved body or a tummy cut? I'd much rather the curve.

I've not seen a USA model with a gut cut except maybe the CODA.

Generally the lower end imports have the cut and no contour (NS body curve).

Don't get me started on this topic....

The seller will end up getting his high price and his high shipping cost while others struggle or have struggled to sell a bass at a reasonable price and shipping cost.
(we know who we are)
Im not sure if this makes me  or :bawl:

P.S. Too bad his friend who owns a music store didn't recommend how to properly setup a bass. Check the saddles,
what are the chances the intonation is even close on this bass right now? :hiding:
