Anyone know who the guy is playing bass for Tom Morello in this clip? Looks to be a Spector he is using the but the dot inlays are throwing me off.

Tom Morello "Black Spartacus Heart Attack Machine" Guitar Center Sessions on DIRECTV - YouTube

If I am wrong, forgive me :)

Don't know who it is, but it looks like a US Kramer NS-2O. I have one and they have larger dot inlays than other Spectors and the 12th fret double dots are closer together than usual.
Really great sounding basses. Every time I take mine out, my drummer comments on the tone.

This is the Norm.. There are exceptions.
My NS-2J below this pic is one of them. It has the fully carved NS Body AND a rounded body edge of the USA NS Body but, it is a USA Bolt On.

The current USA bolt ons have a curved body, but it is less curved than the neck throughs and the edges are less rounded.

Thanks a lot, guys. This helps a lot.
I wish they rounded off the edges like they did for yours, Trace. I really like the punchiness I get from my Reboot, so I was considering a bolt-on down the line, but I'm scared ill miss the full contour.

I really love the NS Body but this is what I fear I look like playing one. :hiding:

I dont' wear my bass NEAR that low though...

Jeez- that dude's gotta be a giant or something. My legend pretty much covers most of my stomach area and part of my chest.
So either he's really big, or I'm just really small. Actually, it's probably both, lol.

JPSbassist do you have any information or pictures of old rebop 5 string bridge and new one with an intonation screws where I can see if is position of the holes for screws forscrewing the bridge to the body, same on both bridges

Awesome! And thank you for working on your SPECTOR Story! I can't wait to see it.

That NS-4 is looking killer. I love your bass. You got a beautiful one for sure!

That is great Chris! I like at about 13 seconds in, you just start looking around the room like "ho hum, I don't even need to look at the neck when playing this Bach piece." :)

Chris, that's great work, man. I have got to get kickstarted on a Bach study I have to help improve my chops and open up some more doors, non-pentatonically speaking....thanks for the inspiration to do so!

Chris,

That was amazing....loved it. :bassist:

Can't wait to see your story. Let me know if you need any help with the editing of the video.

VERY cool! :D:D

me likey!

WOW!!! Chris, that was really really beautiful!!! I love it! Great job!!!

Nice work Chris!

Thanks guys, going to try to post some more stuff, working on all of the pieces I played on my Senior recital for college. Going to take some time to get my chops up again, but this was the first piece I took on, I played it on a 6 string before, it's actually more difficult on a 4 string. It still needs to be cleaned up a bit...
