+1 Righton!!!!It really is Outrageous. Isn't it? I put up with the weight and portability issues because, for me, there is nothing better at bringing out the Spector sound.
No pedals...I love the tone of my SPECTORS just as they are!Hey how many of you use pedals and if you do, what pedals do you use? If not, why don't you use them?
Congrats on the sale! Time to save up for the LE!Well my red NS-2A sold today.... wonder what I should get now?![]()
+100%!!! Absolutely!!!No pedals. Spector straight into a SVT 2p into an SVT8x10 is absolutely the Sh#T! and all you ever need for any style of music. The Spector tone is where its at and far too good to cover up with pedals . Ymmv

Anyway, anyone here ever play your Spector through Orange stuff? Like the little Terror Bass head?
LOVE PEDALS!!! Spector sounds amazing on its own yes, but when I want to colour the sound and give it another dimension... I use some pedalsBeing in a trio, sometimes the song needs an extra UMFFF. It really does make it colourful.
My setup goes:
Bass --> Volume pedal -->Tuner --> XXL Distortion --> Voodo Tremolo --> MXR Envelope Filter --> Boss Flanger -->MXR Carbon Copy Delay --> MXR M80 Bass DI --> Amp.
You are a Tool fan and don't have a Digitech Bass Whammy? Actually, the Line6 M13 I had was really good at re-creating the original Bass Whammy since there is a setting that Justin Chancellor uses that isn't on the newer Whammy pedals. Since the M13 was totally customizable, it allowed me to get that setting so for anyone looking for that, an M9/M13 can do it no problem with an expression pedal.

Man, haven't been on here lately, in Minnesota for the holidays and the have "Internet" here...

Thanks for the heads up. Someone will pick this up pretty cheap Im sure, and have a killer bolt-on Spector.![]()
