That's what side dots are for :)

We played a show a couple of weeks ago and it was mad dark on stage. The side dots wouldn't of helped but the inlays saved me. The guitarist didn't bring his les paul and told me he was screwed without the inlays...on a side note the sound guy was set up on the side of the band that makes a lot of sense??? Walk out 30 feet and try to remember what needs to be adjusted as your walking back???....anyways Sam's old ns2a kicked some a$$ on the drop tuned songs!!

I dreamed we got the mock up for the LE bass and it was ugly.

Hey guys, still working with PJ on the LE bass. We spoke for about 30 minutes yesterday about it. He was going to run numbers and hopefully if its not too busy today we will speak again and see if he has final $'s on the USA Forte.

He said the price on the Euro is going to take more time as he still hasn't heard back from them if they would be willing to do the special inlay and they are getting ready to leave for Christmas and won't be back until after the first of the year. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have hard numbers.

I vote NS2000/5 or a Legend Custom if you can find one... I really want to try out a Legend, but I love my new bass soo much, think I might shoot for all 3 colors :hiding:

I've heard the NS-2A described as a nice Legend. I've had 2 NS-2As (still have one) and my NS-2JA-R (czech made) is nicer... I love my NS-2A but I will definitely be looking for another Euro made Spector next. I DO think the NS-2A is best band for your buck, generally speaking.

My NS-2A was a lot better than my Legend 4! Plus it's a NT! I'd go NS-2A before Legend custom. IMO. I've had both and still have the legend 4.

Thanks for the update! For what its worth (lol and I know its just one vote!) I sure hope its the Euro, as I already have my ultimate NS-2 and wouldnt be interested in a Forte I dont think. But regardless, I thinks its great that some will be able to get a LE from Mr. Spector and friends. Really nice of him and his people to make this possible.

A lot imo. Same playability but you get all the bells n whistles.

Check bass central. They have a lot of spectors in stock and have great deals. They can do custom orders also.

I think I have the 2nd most expensive NS2a in history (The JPS fretless would be #1). I've realized the only thing original on it is the body and paint. It has new active EMGs, a tone pump, brass nut, new schaller tuners, new bridge, new truss rod cover, new knobs and strap pins. A lot of this was done before I owned it, I got carried away and finished it off. the neck/is perfect for what I like. I just wonder if Euro would be a big enough upgrade for me. Your green one looks amazing.

I love too

I'm tempted to put these:

Oval Style BASS GUITAR MOP Vinyl Decal Inlay Set | eBay

in my NS-4CR, what do you think about?

My NS2a had them on when I bought it. They looked real and classy and didn't affect the playability of the bass. After a while, I took them off to use the dunlop fretboard cleaning system. They came off easily with no residue. I think its a cool way to change to look of your bass a bit. Just be careful when you put them on, they have to be perfectly centered and level to look right.
