Killer looking rig! I used to have an 810e and it was a great cab. How do you like the SVT 4 pro? I also love your bass. So much Spector GAS in this thread..

Thank you :)
I've only recently acquired the Ampeg rig. Up until now, I played through an Ashdown rig, which I liked, but was too warm and didn't have that punch that the Ampeg has.
I've only played through it a few minutes as the rig is in my jam space and we're taking a break for the holidays :P But from what I've heard and felt so far, it KILLS!!!!!!!!!!:D This can definitely start an earthquake somewhere!

Lima...the pedal seemed to take the bite out of the growl or the growl all together is gone.:ninja: Cool tune though! :D

That's what side dots are for :)
Never looked at the inlays. They're just visual fluff.

Number please :)[/QUOTE]
Gorgeous!!! Welcome!!

Ah, yes, it does seem to work. I'm gonna take some high res photos and I'll be back with some pictures!

Wowser!!!! I likey! :D

I not so young, but young enough for a big rig. This is the biggest thing I could get that would fit it a volvo.
Very nice!!!

Ah...flying tigers! :D
Just come back from a gig with my band and my new Spector

I have no words at the moment, only:

Tomorrow I will post my impressions, this bass is amazing!!
that's awesome!!! NS-2A's are great basses! First time our with mine the whole band wanted to play it! They couldn't believe the very low string height and low play action! Too bad the cherry burst didn't grow on me... :rollno:

How about a Rex bass like this one?

Oh wait, that was one of his personal ones :) Looking for the article though, he sold that one and hmmm, another one that sounds like it could have been "brownie." Here is the link:

BLABBERMOUTH.NET - REX BROWN's PANTERA Bass Guitars Being Sold

That one went on eBay for either 1100 or 1500 , don't remember right off , but it made me sick .

The Rex 5 is my favorite neck profile . That's why I really like the legend custom . Although I feel like the ns2a is a better bass , I would trade mine for a legend custom 5 .

I've had 20 euros , love em all , will own 20 more before I die (I hope) just all in what you are looking for .

Ice,

What did you listen to this clip on?
Just curious so I can get a reference point for my next mix :D ;)

I am still hearing even more growl then usual through my speakers. :bassist:

There is a change in overall frequency of the bass tone and I am still getting use to mixing it.

It still sounds beefy. It's pretty clean. Nice low mid boost too.

I think I have the 2nd most expensive NS2a in history (The JPS fretless would be #1). I've realized the only thing original on it is the body and paint. It has new active EMGs, a tone pump, brass nut, new schaller tuners, new bridge, new truss rod cover, new knobs and strap pins. A lot of this was done before I owned it, I got carried away and finished it off. the neck/is perfect for what I like. I just wonder if Euro would be a big enough upgrade for me. Your green one looks amazing.

Awesome! I always wanted to do the truss rod cover, but didn't get around to it.

That bass looks amazing now! :D
