I really like that. What a wonderful thought for folks who are just starting out and feel they need to have "Brand X" to improve or be recognized. I still don't like "if you're not playing a Spector, you're not playing." but this is good stuff!

Nice! Congrats! And yes, regarding the treadmill in the background: It IS better to fold it up and leave it that way. You won't need it after toting around THAT rig!!!

I NEVER fault anyone for playing what they want, playing what they enjoy.
The average player/musician that buys a bass shouldn't have to be bothered with this sort of conflict between two companies. And I sincerely apologize if I've ever made any Warwick owner feel uncomfortable.
I'm only being protective of my friends Stuart Spector and Ned Steinberger and because I know the whole story... actually know more than I care to know and I feel the need to defend them when misinformation or wrong assumptions about what happened rears its head.
There's no judgement against anyone who wasn't directly a party to that event.
I don't particularly care for Warwick's founder and owner. But people like Andy are friends of mine. And many of you know I've defended him for his move.
I really try not to beat a dead horse. And I think sometimes my dry, dark sense of humor comes across as anger or something.
But really I stand by what I said to Andy earlier.
As a musician you owe it to yourself to play the instrument that makes you feel best. Period.
And no one should judge you for that. Unless your bass is made of endangered wood and covered in mink or some other endangered animal's fur (which depending on how funky you are might look pretty sweet)... see... dark humor people I'm telling you.

Thank you. And I hear you on the "If your not..." thing. I was more looking for a trademark sign off... like Edward R Murrow but obviously not trying to be too serious about.
For the record... anyone who asks me, in person, via email, PM, publically, whatever... the response I always give is the one above you like. It's what I believe in my heart.
I've found the instrument I love. It's a Spector Neck-Thru 4-string bass. And yes, I'm that specific. I appreciate the other models but for me personally, nothing makes me happier to play than an NS-Body neck-thru. And that's MY preference. I'm neither arrogant enough nor delusional enough to think that it's the right choice for anything more than a fragment of those who want to play bass or already do.
That's why trying things out is SO important. I had a couple of basses before I got my first Spector. And worked through several Spectors to get to what I know.
I'd never do myself or another musician the disservice to say anything else when asked. Marketing in a video is one thing. But I'd have no problem telling someone this face-to-face in Stuart's presence. Because he'd agree with me.
