I think we've established that I don't work for Spector as an employee. But I'm a trusted consultant and I've worked really hard to share the 17 years of branding and marketing experience that I've developed along the way so that Spector grows stronger.

I've been very adamant that the strength of the company is NOT the basses or guitars it makes, but the relationships it develops with its customers.

Spector owners are a loyal and dedicated bunch of people. And THAT is strength. So my goal has been to turn the attention back on the owners, artists and fans who love these guitars.

And if this influences other companies to do the same, awesome! I think every company in the World that makes a product should stop looking at sales as the end of their business cycle and look at it as just the beginning. For it's the experience that the customer has AFTER they buy your product that matters most.

Spector gets it and I've been very fortunate that they've allowed me to do things like My Spector Story and adding customer's tracks to their product DVD.

I wasn't trying to be ugly or start trouble. I'm amused that this is a friend of mine doing this. But Andy's a good guy. So it's all good with me.

The instrument a musician chooses to be the conduit for their creative expression is a very personal journey that is different for everyone. If you have music in your heart and soul that you want to express, play as many different guitars or basses or pianos or whatever instrument that calls to you, and play them until you find the one that speaks to you.

Find the instrument that is a joy to play. That's like a very joyous homecoming every time you pick it up.

The brand doesn't matter. What matters is that you love playing it and it becomes so much more than just a guitar or bass to you. It should become a trusted friend.

Man I'm so in overdrive with excitement today!!! It's like...Forte 5? What you talking about April? Don't matter...not going to distract me!!! Right now would be a great time for SPECTOR to ask me to be a spokesman for them at NAMM!!! I'd tackle people and drag them to the SPECTOR booth to play these INCREDIBLE basses!!! Lol I tell you all in all sincereness and honesty...PAY the little bit extra, whether you have to beg,borrow or steal...JK on the last...and buy one of these Forte's!!!! PJ is giving everyone a chance to have not only a taste but the whole freaking cake, to taste what it's like to play a highest quality made USA SPECTOR NS-2 bass, without the bling, but for a few thousand less!!!

Sounds like the beginning of,"My SPECTOR Story"! Lol :D
Wow! Sorry...I'm very very passionate about anything that I really believe in that's just AWESOME! This Forte touches my most inner soul!:)
