HOLY S**T HOLY S**T HOLY S**T!!!!!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I almost forgot about that one...did you pick the demon face???

You seem excited....do we know specifics, or are we waiting until it crosses the border to you?

Okay, my bad, didn't see the pics because they are blocked here at school, sorry...

I will not be crossing that Canadian border anytime soon, the last time I was in Canada I was DEPORTED!!:confused::confused::confused:

I was filling in for 2 weeks with a country band years ago, like the mid 90's. (Had my NS-2A and my SVT with 2 8-10 cabinets with, a little overkill.)We were playing 2 weeks, the first week in Winnipeg, the second week in Thunder Bay. Without telling us, the leader of the band only got us all one week clearance to work in Canada when we went over the border. The Saturday of week 2 in Thunder Bay, the Border Patrol came and got us and deported us for working as illegal aliens. The band leader paid a fine for all of us, then we went and played the last night...It was awesome...

at least at school here when they do the little "Betcha didn't know this about_____" game at the beginning of the year, no one ever guesses I was "Deported from a country for working as an illegal alien".

Awesome sh*t Chris!!! :bassist:

:D
No, I actually went with the one that had the most consistent grain :)

Cool, its gonna be awesome!!!...I was seriously debating that or the black I want to order....I am leaning on the dark side....Luke I am Your Father!!!!!

Jeff,
That mean the demon face grain can still be around for you?

Maybe a Black Stain Splated Maple top with black inlays?

But the All Black Gloss would be amazing. And you named it already. (Darth Vader)

This might rub a few the wrong way... I'll go ahead and say sorry and its not intentional I have to put this out here just in case someone else in this group is considering doing it... And this is only my opinion, not my advise, just an opinion only...... I just finished installing an Aggie OBP3 in my Euro4LX and all I have to say is .... Wow!!

And thats all I have to say about that. ;)

I can understand 100%, I played a Doug Wimbish EuroLX and a NS-4H2 both with OBP3's back to back when I was at NJ Gutiar Center last month and I was very impressed myself.
Not to mention I still really love my OBP2.

Clean yes, but match it with a Spector and you get a Clear Growl.....:bassist:

The longest I've ever gone without changing strings is how long I've been going with my current set. They've been on since April 2011. I usually change strings every 6 months.

Circle ks just never seem to die!

:eyebrow: damn, I may be doing something wrong then....
I usually have to replace strings every 2 months or sooner. They sound dead to me after that amount of time. That or I break them super fast:hmm:

Funny you should put that out because I just dropped off my Euro 5LX with my tech to have EMG-40DCs and the Aguilar OBP3 installed too. Can't wait to hear it. :bassist:

And so when it's done I'll have a set of EMG-40TWs (single/dual coil pups) and the Tone Pump preamp (with trim pot) to sell. I'd like to sell them together as a set. ...Be a sweet upgrade for a Legend. ;)

Or my Rex .

It sounds like the Tone Pump on Steroids! Spector growl and tone, but with an extra dose of balzy punch and clarity. I could try and describe it with names like punchy, balzy, clear, smooth, grippy, edgy, gritty, but above all is TONE! And this still doesnt describe the feeling I have right now for my Spector. I loved it before, but Im freaking obsessed now for sure! One of the best little investments I've ever made to improve sound quality IMO.

I did put a few sound samples into Logic of the tone pump with different settings, I'll put down the Aggie when I get a little time and post the results.

Im totally blown away!

My profile picture might have to change soon. Sorry Valenti, but Im loving me some Spector right now.

Ive thought about selling my non trim tone pump with the control pots but Im really considering putting into my jazz Im building. Im really curious how it will sound coming through a jazz. It would sound unique for sure.
