I haven't put up any pictures of my NS-2A that i got from TimWilson not too long ago and i think it is time. Its seen its share of wear on it, but it is an incredible bass!!! From PJ, it has USA style inlays, USA hardware, upgrade EMG pickups, and a 9 volt USA circuit. I figured this is probably as close to an NS-2 that i will get without dropping the BIG BUCKS on a real NS-2. I'll probably get it refinished black again in the future sometime when i get some money saved up. Hope you guys enjoy this pics!

From an email i just got from PJ confirming:

thanks for the pics. a dressed up NS-2A....NS-2 style!

yes that looks like a USA 9v circuit in there.

PJ

Right up my alley.

Hey I posted this question in the last thread and I think it got lost in the whole special edition bass hoopla.....

Has anyone used Dogal strings? I know JPS mentioned they were the best flatwounds he'd ever used. Does anyone know where can I buy Dogal strings at?

I don't think you are going to find many people that have used them. If I remember correctly, they are over $100 a set.

I think JPS got those from a NAMM show somehow...can't speak for him on it, though....I do remember they were crazy expensive though. I can't imagine paying that much in strings
