Yea man Im here Im here!! Did you see that rare White NS2JAR on CL not too long ago? Dude only wanted 600 and it was in real good shape.

Snap! I'm in Waco and that would have been worth the drive and gas money. Alas...

And Jarrod, I have LaBellas on my P bass. I don't know if they make short scale flats, but if they do, that would be my recommendation.

Has mated with a Spector bass... Behold the pure evil genius that is "The Spector from the Black Lagoon!"

AKA: Legend-4X Classic with a custom top. :D

Now THAT is something you don't see every day on this thread. Very cool!!!!

For the record..... Shmandy, CarlosRoberto5, Me (Silvertripper), and Rockstarbassist. There's much love for Spector going on down here in Texas!

I always get comments about Brownie (naturally ;)), even from people who don't know it's "that" bass. I've had 2 or 3 people actually recognize it and go "Is that what I think it is??" I'm like :smug:..... hehehe.

I can say also I've personally turned at least 2-3 casual bill-sharers into Spector players as well. It's hard to come to our show and not be impressed with the bass toane (when it's actually in the mix! :hiding:) :bassist::bassist: ;)

I really didn't even expect it to be my #1 gigging bass, but the mojo simply cannot be denied.
Honestly it needs a new truss rod and probably an upgrade to the new USA adjustable bridge to keep it as my #1 but yeah, it's really something else.
Also I'll PM you with my band info and let you know what's up with us. We're doing the record right now and actually mostly play on the Northside so definitely would like to swap deets! :bassist:

Wow! So, including me, there are 4 Texans in this club.
I guess Spector love is bigger in Texas as well? ;)

What's a price check on a used ReBop 5 DLX? I've been looking (in vain) for some and really none out there. I looked at the GC site and (naturally) they seem to be pretty well overpriced, in the $1000-1200 range which is more than most Euro NT's I see go for...
What about the pre-DLX models?

I bought my used Euro LX in the TB Classifieds for that!

I've been keeping a close eye out for a Rebop as well, I already have the Euro 5LX and wanna try out the bolt on. I am also not seeing very many come by at good deals, but I've found some euros for a great price.

Yeah, GC and Ebay have been way off on pricing the Rebops. At least in my mind. There's a 4 string Rebop in my local music store that's tagged at $499 and has been there for about a year and GC has had similar models priced above $800. I'd watch the classifieds and Craigslist.
