What's a price check on a used ReBop 5 DLX? I've been looking (in vain) for some and really none out there. I looked at the GC site and (naturally) they seem to be pretty well overpriced, in the $1000-1200 range which is more than most Euro NT's I see go for...
What about the pre-DLX models?

I bought my former DLX5 for $599.00. Sold it for $675.00. A year ago.

+1. Not much else to add. I'd try to think of a pun to use with 'Korean' next time i post a pic of my legend, but I'm drawing a blank ATM.... I'm sure I'll be back later with something. Lol

I think Shmandy beat you to it about 2 pages back... ;)

Always.

As I bid you all good night, I want to leave you with a musing:

My Spector may be made in Korea, but this thing's got Seoul. :bassist:

I have only seen pics so I can't wait to see it in person! ...plus It'll be a nice contrast when I can afford an NS-2 with the natural finished quilt top! :bassist:

I believe you'll absolutely fall in love with it!
If you'd like to hear some great soundclips seventhframe has a couple of his! I don't believe I'll play anything else but USA Spectors right now anyways. My Forte5 will be coming in April! Can't wait to hear/feel THAT thunder! Thinking a Forte6 would be a real nice addition... :D

Over the past few months the GC used section has gone off the wall with pricing on the ReBops, Euros and NS-2As.

It wasnt that long ago that most ReBops sold at GC for $450-$550. ReBop DLX's where $600-$750, EuroLX's were $700-$1100 and NS-2A's where $350-$500.

Now the prices generally are about $300-$500 higher on each model. :spit::mad:

Yeah! They think that they'd found a gold mine or something?!?!
A year ago from GC I bought a NS-2A $289.00, ReBop 5DLX $599.00, Ian Hill $977.33, Performer 4 $175.00. Shortly after that prices started climbing fast! :eek::ninja:

You know what's funny, SAME THING happened with my NS-2J-AR reissue. Me and one other guy here both had white ones F/S and had to drop the prices just so they'd sell. I eventually sold it for like $850 or something in person bc I was down to under $700 on the TB CF'd and pulled it. Now look at them, especially on eBay. The hell, right?? lol

Also something else I wanted to point out- I have not seen a NS2000/5 or NS2000/Q5 in like, ages. I was keeping my eyes out for one of those too but there are nowhere to be found. WHERE ARE TEH SPECTORZ??? lol
it really is crazy!

This is a video taken of a very short lived band that I was in a year ago...I'm playing my Kramer era NS-2A cherry burst tuned BEAD. Theres 2 1/2 songs on here. I appoligize for the sound quality...it was in a gym and video with a inexpensive Kodak camera. It was a blast while it lasted and an experience! I hope you can enjoy some of it...that electric guitard was the reason I'd went from my Ampeg B-15T to the Ampeg PR-410hlf W/PF-500!!! Buwahahaha!!!!:bassist::cool:

There's two on the GC used site right now. A red and a black. I agonized on getting the red one or a Rex Pro5 and the Rex won out.
