See that's what I would have thought too, but the 35" scale 4-strings appear to have the same pickup spacing as the 34". If you look at a pic of a 435TW next to a 5LX it's pretty noticeable.

My 4 string Euro is a 35". To me so far, there's a big difference between the 34 and 35. String tension, overall feel. I am really used to the 34 so the 35 is quite a different world for me.

Trust me, I'd play one if a shop stocks Spectors near me haha. Feel like ordering a used one from GC online and then returning it to my nearby GC after trying itand then get a sweet one from BassCentral if I like it.
