I picked up a used set of EMG active P/J with a BQC (3-band) preamp set up for Vol, Vol, stacked treb/bass, stacked mid boost-cut/mid-freq. The whole package was only $85 so I couldn't pass it up.

That is quite a good deal!

In the meantime, I will just have to visit the vicarious one on BassCentral.

The peacock one there is cool. Thought about picking that one up. You don't see that color much, and it has the optional pre.

I don't get why people take the haz-copy out of the NS-2A's, I love em and put em in my basses.

Yup, I have them in all my non US basses. Just have to splice for power for the pickups. The difference in value of the pots is negotiable.

Ah well maybe I can track down the mighty-mite copy for my NS20005.

The new 9volt circuit is the same Hazlab they've always had......they just refer to it as the Spector 9 volt circuit instead of 'Hazlab'....

The NS-2A preamp is just a copy of it...

The mightymite MM114 is an un-official copy of the Haz USA 9V circuit.

I runs less then $70 shipped.

Speaking of the MM114 has anyone used it in a Euro series? I have read that the board itself is too big to fit in the Euro cavity. I know the knob holes need to be made larger.

Looks like I'll run power leads for the EMG active pickups and try them with the Korean 9V HAZ copy.

Then I'll have a:
1) NS-2A passive "Spector" pickups with 9V HAZ copy preamp
2) NS-2A active EMG pickups with 9V HAZ copy preamp
3) ReBop 4DLX with Tone Pump and EMG Hz
4) Next step a Euro 4... undecided as to LX or LX-TW

S.A.S. is at full BLAST!

Time to sell off something expensive that doesn't say Spector/SSD on the headstock.

Yep, I have a HAZ in my NS2A and a tone pump in my Rebop...I like the HAZ tone better...it does sound different....I may have to take the Tone pump out and replace it...

I'm gonna drop one in my euro when I get it back. The one I put in my NS-2000/4 was a direct fit. Just a week away until I get my euro back!!!!

I'm gonna do a haz/mm114/tone pump comparison when I get it back.
