I finally got my rack completed. I need to take a picture... My Spector just sounded killer last night , I got things set up where I can keep all my knobs all the way up... I need to get a euro or another CR4FM.... My poor ns2a just isn't getting played right now...

Those CR basses are sleepers. Really great basses with a slightly different neck than the euro's. Awesome!

Just got back from band rehearsal! Our band is playing in Big Rapids, Mi. tomorrow for the annual UMC Western Conference Bishops day. Our band was selected from the whole state! One of the best acoustic rooms that I've played in! Expecting 300+ in attendance.

Black walnut.

Which BTW, is what Stuart originally made the wings for the NS-1 from. The back half of the water cured redwood, buckeye burl and spalt maple models all are black walnut.

It is a beautiful warm, rich sounding wood.

Here's a photo of the back-side of my water cured redwood NS-4.

Stuart will built full wings out of this wood if you want.

I've been thinking about having a solid walnut wings put on a NS-5 NT. I love the looks better glossed like on the back of your WCR NS-4.
