Look what arrived today! These are the new Walnut LTD's with the original Badass bridge, Hazlab 9 volt circuit, chrome hardware. There are only going to be 8. This is #1, #2 and #3.

Wowzers!!! I'm glad one of them isn't a fiver...or else I'd have trouble on my hands!

Seeing that cool holoflash on other Rex's made me think I could do something to make mine a little more attention-getting. I had also heard good things about DR Black Beauties on the Rex5 so I decided to order some Green Neons...

They feel great, sound great and look awesome (they are much brighter in person than what my crappy cell phone camera can capture). I probably won't be bringing this bass to church anytime soon (thats what the other Spector is for:)), but these are some seriously cool strings.:bassist:
They look awesome against the black!!! I'd take it to my church. They are cool like that!

Gorgeous Blue Jarrod!

Thanks ice !!! I am really diggin it ! It's way way cleaner than the original thread pics looked . This is the bass that sold a few weeks back listed as a ns4crfm ( actually a euro ) and was described as beat up it did hadve two screw holes , missing a knob , an has wolf scrapped in the back . Im working on the holes today , the last owner did some buffing , I'm gonna do some more , not worried about the wolf , and bought the only knob I could find in my one horse town ! Lol

I have a session tomorrow....to give you all some ideas of where my basses have been already;

My black NS has now been on a Delta Blues/Zydeco project and a singer/songwriter record-both are going to be released shortly into iTunes...

the ReBop is finding its way onto a session tomorrow and I will have the WimBass along for the ride....

I have a prog rock epic to track and a couple of heavy tunes I am hitting for a friend...
There's more....

Wow! Thats pretty cool!

I do a lot of studio stuff and more live stuff is coming...I go all over the place...
Very cool man
We've got pros in this club, then you got schmoes like me playing in awful cover bands... what a varied crew we have here
ha I think that is awesome, we have pros, touring pros, weekend warriors and play at home bassists..... its all good
Better yet, you have goons like me that aren't even in a band and only play in my office that has all my gear in it :) I keep buying Spector's but have nobody to play them for.....well, my dogs get to enjoy them, LOL.

i think Sam hears ya every now and the too.... ;)

I think were the only ones. I run 45-105 hi beams on mine. Haven't needed to adjust it it since I got it, rock solid.
Yeah the DW's are pretty unique. Kind of sdgr meets jazz meets Spector on the neck. Gonna feel real wierd when you pick up a different bass. I'm ok going to my NS2000 but I miss strings if I go from that to my rebop lol. That one 34 or 35"?

Found the measuring tape.....35"
