I just found the name of my next band:

"Ladies and Gentlemen..........NUT SAGA!!!

Thanks. ;)

Always happy to help!

In other news, I should be receiving word shortly on a certain very pretty blue NS-5XL shipping to me from a fellow TB'er. :hyper:

I don't know how I feel about all you guys having had your hands on my soon to be new girlfriend. :D

I just hope it doesn't put me off my Euros too much but don't think it will. I'll have the 5XL for the US Haz/DC sound, my Euro 5 and 6 for the Tone Pump/TW sound and Euro 435 with the Tone Pump and P/J setup. I should be good with those for while.....*should*.

Just thought I'd chime in here guys..... Chuck Levinson in Maryland has a crazy sale on authentic Spector signed LXs.... They were going to sell me a Buckeye burl top 6lx for $3300! These things go for like 5g's..... So hurt I can't afford it lol

:hiding: I was gentle with her...I promise! :D

It felt very similar to the Euro5XL that I sold a fwe months ago. It was sweet. :bassist:

Don't worry. I still play my Euro's just as much so all of my basses get pretty much equal playing time. The NS-5 definitely has a chunkier neck than the Euro's but I find it more comfortable to play and can fly around the neck if that makes any sense at all. Even though the neck is fatter, it's more comfortable to me so I really like the feel of it.

I really do love the 18V HAZ circuit though and have been messing with the different settings quite a bit. On my Euro's with the tonepump, I turn the treble all the way down since I am really not a fan of the sound but on the NS-5, I boost it a bit and have been getting a great tone.

Chunkier neck = fatter tone. Chunk is good.
