All good Brad! We'll catch up somewhere on the fly here...maybe we should put all of our stuff together and take a massive picture!

That would be sweet! I also think that those of us who live close should get together and do some Spector recording projects.

I know several of the club members live in the Nashville area! ...and who doesn't like a track full of great players playing great basses! :bassist:

just ordered a haz copy pre for my crfm coming tommorow!! Im kinda excited as I will mod this bass without even knowing what kinda pre is in it.
the guy i bought it from said its all original and made in 1999 but he thinks its a tone pump pre...

It should be either an EMG pre (most likely) or a Czech copy of the US Hazlab. PJ said only a few were made with that pre, in which case you may not need the one you ordered :hiding:

Yeah the pad button is a -15db pad. I use it for active electronics and turn it off for passive.

I think a lot of my issues came from the gauge of the cable from pre to power. I changed it to a patch cable and it helped a lot.

I realize after a few hours with it last night that it is a different animal than the other amps I have recently owned (Hartke LH500 and GK MB500 Fusion)

It is worth the initial learning curve because it sounds so good!!!

Cool man, yea it's a total different animal :D I'm glad you got it figured out ;)

Well Done! Love me some Bach on Bass!!!

I am working up the Prelude of Suite 1 in G...eventually working to the Allemande!!

Good taste, Me Too!

This was me in the fall, right before I caught Pneumonia and spent 2 weeks in the hospital

I had the 1/2 of the Allemande about under my fingers, but I haven't been practicing it since then, need to start working on it again.

Man, I don't know how you guys do it. It would take me a decade to learn a classical composition. :bassist:

Nice to know other club members play Bach! My teacher has me working on his arrangements of some of his inventions and some of the cello suites (upright and electric-). I've kinda been slacking on them though... Better get to work!
