Cool Sam! Glad to hear you're still with us! Praying for healing for you brother! I'm sitting in my Orthopedic Dr. office right now and you'd think they could afford some Wi-Fi for their customers??? Thank goodness for 3G!

But I will be getting a cath on monday 4/16 just to make sure everything is looking the same inside. Still waiting for the final ER doc to sign me out so I can return home to see my family and my Spectors :-)

I had a PR-410HLF...it's hard to lug around. That's the main reason I sold it and went with the SVT 810e, easier to move and haul. It has built in rollers and skids on back. Only weighs 12# more too. The sound difference between the two is a whole different worlds apart too. I preferr the SVT 810e.

Well kind of, there was someone who mentioned he was going to sel it, but wasn't a supporting member. It was also on eBay, but I had been emailing with him. The bass has toured the whole USA (except Hawaii) and other parts of the world. I'm pretty stoked to own it.

the 5 string thing is in the back of my head..

Also guys, I have to downsize a bit, and unfortunately my Spector Legend is not going to make the cut:crying::crying:I love her, but it was a choice between her and my redwood USA Peavey Cirrus 6.......forgive me O Lord of Spector!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably the toughest decision I've had to make gear wise in a while!:rollno:

So I'm getting ready to list Blondie in the classifieds, but I figured I'd try here first with the true Spector family! I'm going to list her for $650 plus shipping in the classifieds, for you guys I'll knock $50 off. So $600+shipping( I guess that's a fair price.)

If I have to move this thread I understand...I'd rather she go to one of you guys though...

I can see a few obligatory swirls when I hold the bass at an obscene angle...no dings or nicks that I can see

You might want to check out the Micro 2-10. I think the Idea behind it is a sealed 2-10 built like a 8-10, but with only 2 speakers. Put 2 of them together, you have a very light set up. I have played through one cab, sounded pretty good for how small they are.

Well that can be a problem, not much selection around here, the local Guitar Center only stocks stuff made by Markbass, GK, Mesa, Acoustic, and once in a while there is some Ampeg stuff though usually just tube amps, not cabinets. So for the most part I have to buy stuff online, or from craigslist when it comes to gear.

That may not be a bad idea, I could use my main when I use my 1x15, and my backup with 2 of those linked up, my main amp puts 400W into 4 ohms and 200W into 8 ohms, but my backup does 200W into either 8 or 4. Plus being 2 cabinets portability would be excellent. I wonder if my local Guitar Center has one or two of these...

The Samick made Spectors not as curved as regular NS2As. They are closer to a Legend (but neck through) The knobs are also a little "lazy" and point to the side (like a les paul) as opposed to straight up like a traditional Spector.

I owned one and I loved. The stock Spector branded pups are very lacking, but the necks are thin and play very nice. Here is a pic of my old one.

There is not much love for the samick basses here, although I really would put them in the same class other NS2As (although maybe not your black one ;) )

Not to rain on the parade but have a look through the VR threads about the quality issues when you're trying to run two cabs. :scowl: I had one of these for a bit (head + 1 cab) but wound up selling it off. I am a huge Ampeg fanboy but it just wasn't loud enough for my purposes, and the fan was really loud for some reason. (I'm just about to pull the trigger on a PF500, though)....
