Wooohoooo. Sweet! :bassist:

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers. The Good news I dont have to do an emegency cath today. Both blood tests were negative for a heart attack and my EKG was normal again. But I will be getting a cath on monday 4/16 just to make sure everything is looking the same inside. Still waiting for the final ER doc to sign me out so I can return home to see my family and my Spectors :-)

Hi all Spector wizards!:)

I had a NS-2A a couple of months last years that I really loved!
Since I play metal on it, I tuned it BEAD which sounded good.
After a while I start missing my G-string a lot so I sold it and bought a SSD NS5CR instead. Great Spector tone as well!
But now I think I liked the P/J pups more (when I compre recorded sound clips) that the DCs.

SO here's my question:
Will I come real close soundwise to the PJs if I changed the pups to 40P5 and 40J instead of the DCs? Anyone tried that?
I love them! I ordered them on my new Forte 5. They sound just like P/J's.
I use P/J's on my 4 string Forte 4.

Awesome news!

Good to hear Lima!

Now with all the Ampeg fans in here I was wondering if I might get some advice.
I really love the tone of a big sealed 8x10, but I could never gig something that big (lots of stairs!) so i was wondering what Ampeg 4x10 comes closest to the big sealed 8x10 sound.

Maybe the B-410HE or SVT-410HE? Most of the others I see have ports. Option of turning off the horn is a big plus for me as well.

Thanks everyone, it really feels great to get so much prayers and support from everyone. :-) The first blood test came back neg for a heart attack. They will still be doing the cath tomorrow to be on the safe side. Crazy thing, I actually enjoy looking at the cath monitors when they do it. They even give you disc of it to take home. :-) This will be the 6th time. I will keep everyone updated. The ER has WiFi

get well sam!! god bless!
