Thanks for the info, I just took off the back cover and now see the dip switches.
Also when I bought my Legend 5 it had the pre already upgraded tp the has copy. I think the DC pick-ups may be upgraded as well. All they say on the front is EMG in the bottom corner. I thought all the Legend pick-ups had an HZ or SSD on them. Is that correct? Is there any way to verify what pick-up it has without taking the pick-up out?

I feel bad because it would be great to help someone out and get them into a Spector, but I really, truly could not afford to do this. So I politely said no and continue to wonder why this summer sucks so bad for trying to move stuff...

The chances are it's a straight 40DC. The CSs aren't as popular and 9/10 times the default for people when they upgrade from the Hzs or SSD humbuckers is a 40DC. The only way to tell for sure is to check the bottom side of the pickup and see what the label says, but I'd bet money it's a set of 40DCs. That's an incredible find, by the way! The Legends are great instruments and finding one used that's been upgraded to a Haz copy and 40DCs is just about the best icing on the Spector cake you could ask for. That is a kickass tone combination.

I feel the same way about moving stuff, but it's 2x worse for me, because I'm trying to sell something so I can move into a Spector!
And then I want to change my amp setup, but selling the head and cab will be a pain and I probably won't even get much :c
Swapped the black wires on the jack (the new jack) and it works . Not sure if it's still pulling power all the time . But I'm sure I'll know later tonight

So do you like it? Besides weight does it sound like it's putting out all 500 or would you say it's more or less than what it's rated at. Also, where did you pick it up and what are you running it into?

I love the way the NS2A plays but the sound is just not quite what I'm looking for so far. Maybe it's the whole P/J thing. I've always played DC pick-ups before. My G&L's and my Legend 5. Don't get me wrong, it sounds good. It just doesn't seem to have that "Spector grind" that I want.

yea, it sounds great. I bought it used from GC for $300.
They didn't know what they had.
Does that look like the MM114? I could be wrong on the type. I posted a picture it on this thread and that seemed to be what everyone thought. After looking at the might might site it looked identicle. I could be wrong though. Is there any way to verify which one I have?
