I'm currently , still, building a 15/6/1 and by all accounts it's supposed to crush my Bergantino NV215. We'll see.

I love the nv215. I'm not sure that I am ready to buy the hype that a 15/6 or 15/6/1 with blow it away. Let me know what you find out

A 12/6 uses a 12" driver for the low end and a 6" speaker for mids/highs. From my understanding, the design of the box and crossover play a big role in maximizing the sonics and sensitivity of the cabinet.

Yeah, I love my NV215 to. I figure the 15/6/1 will at least be another tool in the arsenal. Not sure if it's still hype though. I had my doubts also. There are enough of these around now that the hype should have subsided if hey weren't what they are claimed to be. But like everything else, they're not for everybody. Not everybody likes Macs or F150s or Nikons, but lots of people do.

also if you look on the fEARful site there is a google map of a lot of fEARful users. Most have no problems letting you hear their gear. They're not for everyone, but the do have a lot of output for their size. They do put out what is put in so they can be very revealing as far as equiptment & technique. Another thing that took me a while to get used to is they are louder than they sound (to my ear) because they are so clear.

Very sleek and fast. For those that don't know it has a 3 band EG (stacked bass/treble) and vol/vol. $420 shipped to the 48 for the club price. I'll let it marinade here for a few days before it goes to the masses. Let me know...

Yeah, my brother has a fascination with bad 80s action movies and a soft spot for the bad ones (kickboxer, tango and cash, etc.) he thinks the soundtracks are hysterical and "no easy way out" is at the top of the list. even though it's fairly obvious the line was done with a stingray, he nagged me to figure it out for him so he could use just the opening riff as a ringtone. It sounds better on a Spector, as many things do :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Even more than your gear, I have yard envy, Lee (assuming that's your property, that is).

I lived in Harrisonburg for 2 years when I worked at James Madison and totally fell in love with the entire state (yes, even parts of NOVA).

Atlanta really blows compared to living there. I wish I'd never left.

Sweet, Harrisonburg is a real nice area. I head down there a lot to dirt bike ride in the George Washington Nat'l Forest (Natural Chimneys) if you're familiar.

Yep, that's my yard. Good and bad because for as purdy as it is my part time job is mowing it....and it doesn't pay so good.:eyebrow:

Oh, I am the same way with all of those movies, LOL. Sometimes I cringe though when I go back and watch a movie I loved in the 80's and wonder how I actually like that :)

Totally! What I hate is when you've been telling a friend how cool an old crappy 80's movie is and then you watch it with them and they not only think you're a complete R-Tard, but you have to question for yourself if they're not right.

Case in point:

And I want to know WHY? WHY? WHY? did they never make that sequel they teased us about? :rolleyes:

Yup, that movie is a perfect example right there. Even watching just the credits had me rolling for multiple reasons. The outfits they were wearing (especially Jeff Goldblum) and the cheesy synthesized music that as playing throughout the credits. Man, that was a serious cast in that movie though and you are right, I wish they made a sequel.
