I'd like to thank Dave Fowler for dealing with my incessant emails, texts and phone calls for the last month regarding him selling me this beauty. I am now the proud caretaker of this ultra amber NS 2.

Thanks Dave!

That bass was the inspiration for mine. I love the maple fretboard, but I like the sound of the pau ferro.

Such a sexy bass!!! :bassist:

Oh. My. God. That is unreal. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Maple board tone. I'm already thinking about my next one and love the looks of maple.

Ah..........i think I just hurt my eyeballs when I looked at this. I forgot when they pop out (my eyes) not to let them bounce off my computer screen and hit the floor! Congrats Lee!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::hyper:

lol :D Right you are, sir

I actually got the strap first, then *tried* to convince the Wife that I needed an appropriate bass to fasten it to. After I picked up the Forte, I cemented some black sheepskin to the back of the strap to better accommodate the weight (#9.5). Recently I contacted the craftsman down in L.A to see if he could make me another one that's 3" wide with diagonal pyramids and some bigger spikes  He's drawing it up right now.

Awesome. That's a stellar pairing. I suppose that there will be so sensitive, tender emo songs coming out of her either. haha.
:D

Oh, and I'm in (obviously).

I really need your help here Spector fanatics. I have a Euro 5 LX that I bought and it had been modified to have active pickups and passive controls. I added an Aguilar OBP3-pp/sk and now I need three "standard" black knobs and one "stacked" as my bass and treble are stacked. Can anyone on here tell me where i could get a set for this setup.....a matched set? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks!!:help:

Welcome to the club man! I couldn't get the pic links to work on my phone for some reason- but if someone in the club can see them you'll probably get an answer fairly soon. Lots of knowledgable people here.

21.11.08 If you want to hotlink images that are hosted at our server your domain should be in our white-list. More information is available here.
If you want your site (or just a site you like) to be whitelisted - contact us.

The best Indicators of telling which model that you have is first to figure out if its a USA or Euro. USA bridges are flat on the top ends and usually have Spector branded into the bridge. Euro bridges are rounded. Look on the back of the headstock, is it stamped "Made in Woodstock, NY with Stuart Spectors signature? Or Made in Czech Republic? Or made in Korea? Once you determine this, then you can browse the "Discontinued Models" here, Link Removed If you can get some pictures up a lot of us can tell right away usually. There are some earlier models that were custom orders or out of the norm. Also if you have the serial# email PJ Rubal, Spectors VP, [email protected]. He will be able to tell you more than likely and the year it was built.
Welcome to our Spector family! Glad to have you here! If you hadn't ask for a club member# yet, PM Tracebassplayer and request one, also include a picture for trace.
